When Chelsea Houska\u2019s HGTV series<\/a> premiered, it looked like network execs had a new breakout star on their hands.<\/p>\n

Down Home Fab<\/em> debuted to massive ratings, and in a relative rarity, the show\u2019s viewership increased<\/em> in its second week on the air.<\/p>\n

HGTV promptly signed Chelsea and husband Cole DeBoer for a second season<\/a>, and it looked as though the couple had ample reason to be optimistic about their new career.<\/p>\n

In recent weeks, however, the DeBoer\u2019s future has come to seem a little less certain.<\/p>\n
