Though she\u2019s only been in the spotlight for a short time, fans are wondering if the actress \u2013 born December 1997 \u2013 has ever had plastic surgery after skyrocketing to fame.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Though Madelyn \u2013 who had <\/span>small parts in <\/span>Stranger Things<\/span><\/i><\/a> and <\/span>The Originals <\/span><\/i>before landing<\/span><\/a> bigger roles in <\/span>Boy Erased<\/span><\/i> (2018) and <\/span>The Giant<\/span><\/i> (2019) \u2013 has never admitted to undergoing plastic surgery or receiving cosmetic treatments, the <\/span>Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery<\/span><\/i> actress has openly talked about <\/span>body image<\/span><\/a> and the demand to achieve and maintain a specific look.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI feel like everybody puts pressure on themselves to look or act a certain way sometimes,\u201d she told <\/span>Glamour U.K.<\/span><\/i><\/a> in November 2022. \u201cAnd at the end of the day \u2013 it doesn\u2019t matter. Like, you know, we\u2019re on a floating rock hurtling through space, and to worry yourself about things like that \u2013 it\u2019s trivial. All bodies are beautiful, [realizing that] is a part of self-love and self-acceptance.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>Netflix<\/span><\/a> star also opened up about when she feels most empowered, revealing that being in an \u201cenvironment where everybody\u2019s really lifting each other up, respectful, loving and just having a good time\u201d is when she truly feels her best.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cFinding people who see you and also match your energy is so important. I feel like that\u2019s really empowering \u2013 finding your people,\u201d she shared with the outlet. \u201cAnd sometimes it\u2019s little things like what you\u2019re wearing, like your favorite outfit or that <\/span>one piece of clothing that makes you feel<\/span><\/a> like a f\u2013king badass. That s\u2013t\u2019s empowering. Just having the ability to listen to yourself and know what you need or want is empowering.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Madelyn\u2019s <\/span>Glamour U.K. <\/span><\/i>interview wasn\u2019t the first time she got candid about body image and self-empowerment. While speaking to <\/span>Women\u2019s Health<\/span><\/i><\/a> in December 2020, the <\/span>What Breaks the Ice<\/span><\/i> actress opened up about <\/span>struggling with an eating disorder<\/span><\/a> when she was a teen, crediting her family for helping her realize there\u2019s \u201cnothing wrong\u201d with her body and the way she looks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMy mom was a wonderful help in that. She would stand there in the mirror with me and we would list out <\/span>things that I liked about my body<\/span><\/a>,\u201d she told the outlet at the time. \u201cAfter that repetition, those things became solidified in my mind. I like my curves, I like my hips, and after a while <\/span>I started to love my body<\/span><\/a>.
