Gwen Stefani<\/strong><\/a> and Blake Shelton<\/strong><\/a> rang in the new year on opposite sides of the country<\/a>. The country music star, 47, performed during Nashville\u2019s Big Bash while the \u201cHollaback Girl\u201d singer, 54, put a show at the Venetian in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you\u2019re gonna be working, then I\u2019m gonna be working,\u201d Gwen said of celebrating the holiday nearly 2,000 miles apart from Blake. \u201cThey\u2019ve been spending a lot of time away from each other the past several months,\u201d frets a source exclusively to Life & Style<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s been frustrating. Their relationship of late has been a lot of texting and talking on the phone.\u201d Problem is, neither one shows any signs of slowing down, either. Blake left The Voice<\/em><\/a> in May to spend more time with Gwen and her boys, Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 9<\/a>, but he\u2019s still got his game show, Barmageddon, and will be embarking on his Back to the Honky Tonk tour in February. She\u2019ll be plenty busy, too, recording new music and headlining Coachella in April with No Doubt<\/a>. \u201cGwen and Blake used to be inseparable, but that\u2019s changed,\u201d admits an insider. \u201cEveryone loves them together, so hopefully this is just a temporary thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
