The mum-of-three, 42, went under the knife earlier this month for an undisclosed procedure and an insider has now claimed she has returned to her family home of Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate to recover so she can return to public duties this Easter.<\/p>\n
A palace insider also told Us Weekly Catherine is already \u201cplanning engagements and speaking with her team\u201d to prepare for her comeback.<\/p>\n
They added: \u201cCatherine will still be healing for several weeks but is already eager to get back to work.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kensington Palace has maintained the royal won\u2019t step out in public until she\u2019s fully recovered.<\/p>\n
\nAnother insider insisted to Us Weekly the Princess of Wales will \u201cbounce back\u201d to full health but will need the time and privacy to focus on herself.<\/p>\n
\nThey said: \u201cIt does sound serious with the length of time (she is taking.)<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut she is in great hands and will have lots of care and support at home and is a fit young woman. I am sure she will bounce back.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe source also praised Catherine for ensuring she doesn\u2019t strain herself too early, saying: \u201cIt is sensible to take the time. That is a great example to the rest of us, as you\u2019re often told to get back to work as soon as possible, which can be damaging.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDespite Catherine\u2019s surgery being planned in advance, a source told Page Six her procedure was kept so secret that not even her closest advisers knew she would be going into hospital as she and her husband Prince William, 41, wanted to maintain privacy.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple\u2019s three children \u2013 Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and five-year-old Prince Louis \u2013 are understood not to have visited their mum at the London Clinic where she was treated, but are believed to have FaceTime\u2019d her during the stay.<\/p>\n
\nA source told Entertainment Tonight William, Prince of Wales and Catherine didn\u2019t want to \u201cdisrupt\u201d their kids\u2019 routines by having them come to the hospital.<\/p>\n
\nCatherine did, however, get a visit from King Charles, 75, as he was having a surgery of his own at the clinic to treat an enlarged prostate.<\/p>\n
\nThe monarch spent three nights at The London Clinic, and was seen leaving the facility on 29 January after his procedure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
