Holmes<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 podcast on January 23, when Amy, 50, began to cry and admitted she\u2019s been hurt by her beau\u2019s recent behavior. \u201cI felt extremely disconnected from you, and I am someone who does want and needs physical touch, words of affirmation and communication,\u201d she told the 46-year-old, saying that he\u2019d been \u201cemotionally removed\u2026.The last few days, I felt disconnected from you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the on-air candor was jarring for listeners, it was just the latest reality check for the lovebirds. The former GMA3 co-hosts were fired by ABC in January 2023 after they were caught canoodling prior to finalizing their respective divorces. Both later confessed to hitting the bottle too much \u2014 Amy was consuming over 30 alcoholic beverages a week, while T.J. had upwards of 18 drinks a day \u2014 amid the fallout last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were on a high during the early stages of their romance, but those days are over,\u201d an insider exclusively tells <em>Life &amp; Style<\/em>, noting the couple have spoken about the \u201cpressure\u201d to make their relationship work now that their careers have been \u201cunfairly taken.\u2026 As Amy\u2019s said, there\u2019s been a price to pay for their relationship. They just never could\u2019ve imagined encountering so many bumps in the road.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>NO HIDING<\/strong><br \/>Those bumps have a lot to do with the fact that the couple spend nearly 24 hours a day together. They launched their \u201cAmy &amp; T.J.\u201d podcast in December 2023, and though they have proven on-air chemistry, they\u2019re now in charge of content, bookings, promotions and ratings, and it hasn\u2019t been easy. \u201cAll of that has consumed both of us,\u201d Amy\u2019s said. \u201cWhat we have ended up doing is sitting in silence for hours next to each other, and it is exhausting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So are their at least once-a-week arguments, after which Amy says T.J. freezes her out for two days. \u201cThey\u2019ve actually thought about going to couples therapy,\u201d the insider reveals to Life &amp; Style. \u201cIt definitely couldn\u2019t hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The rough patch has been so bad that the duo even felt compelled to tell fans \u201cwe are still together\u201d in a January 24 Instagram post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanna be real and we wanna be transparent,\u201d she noted of sharing their low moments. \u201cWe wanted to show all the sides of us.\u201d However, hashing their problems out in public doesn\u2019t seem to be helping matters. \u201cThey both desperately want the relationship to work,\u201d the insider tells <em>Life &amp; Style<\/em>. \u201cThey\u2019d be humiliated if they broke up now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifeandstylemag.com\/posts\/amy-robach-and-tj-holmes-honeymoon-days-are-over\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Things took a personal \u2014 and emotional! \u2014turn on Amy Robach and T.J.
