The Crew-6 mission\u2019s getting ready to blast off into space. With the help of SpaceX\u2019s Falcon 9 rocket, the company\u2019s Dragon Endeavour spacecraft will lift off early Monday morning at 1:45AM ET from NASA\u2019s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The spacecraft will carry four astronauts, including NASA\u2019s Stephen Bowen and Warren \u201cWoody\u201d Hoburg, as well as the United Arab Emirates\u2019 Sultan Alneyadi and Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. They\u2019re headed to the International Space Station for an up to six-month stay, where they\u2019ll conduct various research<\/a> projects to help \u201cprepare for human exploration beyond low-Earth orbit and benefit life on Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n At the ISS, they\u2019ll join the seven-member Expedition 69 crew and the history-making Crew-5<\/a> astronauts, who will depart shortly after Crew-6\u2019s arrival. This marks the seventh time SpaceX has flown astronauts aboard its Dragon spacecraft as part of the NASA Commercial Crew Program and the company\u2019s ninth crewed flight in total.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
