\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Lionel Richie<\/strong><\/a> is sharing his thoughts on daughter Sofia Richie<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s pregnancy and he\u2019s opening up about becoming a grandfather to her daughter.<\/p>\n The 25-year-old model and entrepreneur confirmed last week that she\u2019s expecting a baby girl<\/a> with husband Elliot Grainge<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know what? I am pumped up,\u201d Lionel <\/strong>told People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI am now going to spoil yet another child in the world \u2026 And I am not quite sure what the child will do to me, but I\u2019m hoping that the child gives the parents a bit of a run, because every parent wants to get even as to what you did to me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m in a position right now where I\u2019m going to love this child to death, spoil him to death,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd on very special occasions give the child back so the parents can actually raise this child.\u201d <\/p>\n Lionel<\/strong> explained why he won\u2019t let the child call him grandpa.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m Pop-pop,\u201d he told Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em>. \u201cWe don\u2019t get the \u2018grandpa,\u2019 yeah, that\u2019s a little deep. Pop-pop is where we\u2019re going.\u201d<\/p>\n Lionel<\/strong> thinks that Sofia <\/strong>is going to be a great mom.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s going to be fantastic,\u201d he told People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cThese are two loving parents, and I don\u2019t think they really know what\u2019s coming because every kid is different. So no matter what advice I give them, there\u2019s no manual for this. They\u2019ll figure it out.\u201d <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
