Whoopi Goldberg keeps taking herself off her \u2018The View\u2019 co-hosts\u2019 group chat<\/p>\n
The 68-year-old comic says she exits it as she \u201cdoesn\u2019t care\u201d what her fellow presenters are \u201cupset about\u201d on her weekends away from the show.<\/p>\n
Whoopi made the statements on Monday\u2019s (29.01.24) episode of the ABC talk show, when her co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, 34, asked the other women if there was a group chat she was not part of.<\/p>\n
Co-host Sunny Hostin, 55, admitted there had been in previous years, but told Alyssa that Whoopi would \u201cgladly give you her spot.\u201d<\/p>\n
When their fellow host Ana Navarro, 52, suggested Whoopi should look into silencing her notifications rather than removing herself from the group chat altogether, the comic said: \u201cSilencing y\u2019all does not mean being part of it. I don\u2019t care. I don\u2019t care what you\u2019re upset about. It\u2019s the weekend!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAna added that it could get confusing having several group chats with different people.<\/p>\n
\nWhoopi went on: \u201cSee, that\u2019s why I\u2019m not on all of that stuff because I know who I\u2019m texting.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf I need to talk to you, I\u2019ll talk to you\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI don\u2019t just be sending y\u2019all stuff! I\u2019m busy! I\u2019m busy, you know?<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWhen I talk about those hit and runs, what do you think I\u2019m doing?<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI communicate when I have something to say. I don\u2019t just be sending y\u2019all stuff. I\u2019m busy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nOutspoken Whoopi also has a habit of leaving the table during \u2018The View\u2019 when topics come up that she has no interest in.<\/p>\n
\nEarlier this month she walked off the set once her co-stars began talking about sexual fetishes.<\/p>\n
\nThe hosts were debating a newspaper advice column in which an anonymous person said his wife stopped allowing him to give her foot massages after he told her he had a fetish.<\/p>\n
\nRefusing to discuss it any more, Whoopi got off her seat and walked off, saying, \u201cExcuse me for a second. Keep talking!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
