Despite reports on Sunday stating that <\/span>Taylor Swift<\/a> would be taking the stage at the <\/span>66th annual GRAMMY Awards<\/a>, sadly, that is not the case.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n ET has exclusively learned that the “Karma” singer, 34, will be in attendance at the Feb. 4 award show, however, she will not be performing as she has a quick turnaround before resuming her record-breaking <\/span>Eras Tour<\/a> on the other side of the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Swift — whose album <\/span>Midnights <\/span><\/em>is nominated for six awards — will quickly head out from the show and travel to Tokyo, Japan, where she will perform four back-to-back <\/span>sold-out shows<\/a> in the proceeding days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The 12-time GRAMMY winner was on tour in Argentina when the <\/span>nominations were announced in November<\/a>.\u00a0At the time, Swift took a moment to thank fans for helping her shatter records previously held by some of the music industry’s top luminaries — including herself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “The way you have supported my album,\u00a0<\/span>Midnights<\/span><\/em>, it just got nominated for six GRAMMYS,” she said,\u00a0holding up six fingers and busting a move while seated at her moss-covered piano. “You’re the best.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As far as other nominations are concerned,\u00a0<\/span>SZA<\/a>\u00a0leads the pack with nine GRAMMY nods, which are mostly for her 2022 album\u00a0<\/span>SOS<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span>Boygenius<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Miley Cyrus<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Jon Batiste<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Lana Del Rey<\/a>\u00a0are among those competing in\u00a0the major categories \u2014 Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n For her part, Swift — a 52-time nominee — is in the running for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hosted once again by comedian and former\u00a0<\/span>The Daily Show\u00a0<\/span><\/em>host\u00a0<\/span>Trevor Noah<\/a>, the 2024 GRAMMYs\u00a0will air live from\u00a0<\/span>Crypto.com<\/a>\u00a0Arena in Los Angeles on CBS and Paramount+ for Paramount+ with Showtime users on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. EST.<\/span><\/p>\n
