Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> and Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> aren\u2019t letting the intense public attention surrounding their relationship get to them. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about how he and his girlfriend deal with the cheerleaders and critics during a press conference on Friday, January 26.<\/p>\n \u201cAs long as we\u2019re happy, we can\u2019t listen to anything that\u2019s outside noise. That\u2019s all that matters,\u201d Travis, 34, told reporters, noting that he and Taylor, 34, have \u201ctalked about\u201d how to manage their privacy.<\/p>\n Though Travis gained fame prior to his relationship with the singer due to the Chiefs\u2019 Super Bowl 2023 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, which is brother Jason Kelce<\/strong>\u2019s team, he acknowledged that Taylor brought him and his family<\/a> a new wave of fans.<\/p>\n \u201cI brought this upon myself, and I do enjoy having fun with it all,\u201d he continued. \u201cThe biggest thing is making sure my focus is right here in this building.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis also noted that it can be difficult to deal with \u201ceveryone else\u2019s perspective,\u201d as some critics have accused him of not being focused on the field amid his very public relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cYou hear the media throughout the year if we\u2019re not having success, you know, maybe throw it out there that I wasn\u2019t focused or that the team isn\u2019t focused on certain things, and if you\u2019re in this building, you know exactly what\u2019s going on,\u201d he concluded. \u201cSo, you gotta compartmentalize what you\u2019re hearing and make sure that you\u2019re staying on task, and giving everybody in the building and on that team the right perception.\u201d<\/p>\n
