Y\u2019all wanna talk about weight loss? I was in the gym, I was working the f\u2013k out, man,\u201d \u200b50 Cent, 48, said in a Reel posted on Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, January 24. \u201cAnd they say it\u2019s Ozempic? I was running, I was running, I was doing what I had to do. You seen me on tour.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u200b\u201cJust a Lil Bit\u201d artist added that he \u201cweighed 253 pounds and came down to \u200b210.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans noticed 50 Cent\u2019s dramatic weight loss in photos he posted on Instagram<\/a>, and many of them wondered if he was taking the popular weight loss drug. A few others joked that he should change his name to 25 Cent.<\/p>\n \u201cOzempic takes another, but I like Teddy Bear 50,\u201d wrote one Instagram user.<\/p>\n Another commenter wrote, \u201cIt look like he\u2019s taking [Ozempic.]\u201d<\/p>\n However, several people came to the defense of \u201cThe Candy Shop\u201d rapper.<\/p>\n \u201cSuper Bowl performance everybody laughed because he gained weight now everybody laughs because he lost weight?! I can\u2019t with y\u2019all,\u201d chimed one person.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a perfect example of a man wanting to be healthy. It\u2019s not appreciated. People so judgmental,\u201d wrote another commenter.<\/p>\n Several other fans noted that 50 Cent\u2019s weight loss<\/a> could have underlying reasons. They likened the situation to Black Panther<\/em> star Chadwick Boseman\u2019s<\/a> weight loss before his death from colon cancer in August 2020 and urged others to not post negative comments.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s crazy is everyone said after [Chadwick Boseman\u2019s] death, y\u2019all would be more respectful of people never know what they are battling and why they are losing weight but here y\u2019all are in these comments talking so crazy and yet again y\u2019all have no idea what 50 got going on. SMH,\u201d scolded one fan.<\/p>\n 50 Cent recently spoke about his new routine to help him get in better shape and part of it involved abstaining from sex.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m focused, man, practicing abstinence is helping me train harder,\u201d 50 Cent wrote in the caption<\/a> of a photo of him looking stylish in a navy Gucci jacket on January 20. \u201cI feel great, I think more people should try it.\u201d<\/p>\n The rapper announced his new training routine shortly after New Year\u2019s Day on January 9, as he promoted his brand of cognac on Instagram<\/a>. 50 Cent explained that he \u201cdidn\u2019t have time to be distracted\u201d and that, in addition to practicing abstinence, he was \u201cmeditating and focusing on [his] new goals.\u201d The rapper also continued to tease an upcoming project and said it was the \u201cbiggest project\u201d he\u2019s ever taken on.<\/p>\n The Grammy award winner has stayed busy since he exploded onto the scene in 2003 and adding another business venture to his plate doesn\u2019t come as a surprise.
