Following 2001\u2019s <\/span>Band of Brothers<\/span><\/em> and 2010\u2019s <\/span>The Pacific<\/span><\/em>, <\/span>Masters of the Air<\/span><\/em> is the third entry in the WWII miniseries franchise co-executive produced by <\/span>Steven Spielberg<\/a>, <\/span>Tom Hanks<\/a> and Gary Goetzman. Creators John Orloff and John Shiban adapt author Donald L. Miller\u2019s 2006 gripping account of the Eighth Air Force’s 100th Bomb Group for an epic retelling of a true story.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the official synopsis, <\/span>Masters of the Air<\/span><\/em> follows the group known as The Bloody Hundredth \u201cas they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and sheer terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
