Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a> is proud of how the Kansas City Chiefs played over the weekend but knows they still have to bring it to make it to Super Bowl LVIII<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHey, real quick, real quick,\u201d Mahomes, 28, said in a clip from the NFL<\/a> while in the team\u2019s locker room after the team\u2019s Sunday, January 21, game against the Buffalo Bills. \u201cThey asked for it and they got what they asked for.\u201d<\/p>\n Mahomes turned to his fellow players and reminded them of what Travis Kelce<\/strong> had told them earlier in the day: their season is not over yet and they still have another game to play.<\/p>\n \u201cBut he said it, this s\u2013t ain\u2019t done,\u201d the quarterback shouted while acknowledging the tight end\u2019s words of wisdom. \u201cWe come back next week ready to f\u2013king go.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelce, 34, jumped in and told the team they have to \u201cturn it up a notch\u201d as they prepare to face off against the Baltimore Ravens next.<\/p>\n Mahomes ended his pep talk by leading the team in their \u201cChiefs on 3\u201d chant.<\/p>\n During the Sunday divisional playoff game, the Chiefs narrowly defeated the Bills<\/a> with a final score of 27-24. The Bills had the chance to tie the game in the final quarter but kicker Tyler Bass<\/strong> missed a field goal which led to the Chiefs\u2019 victory.<\/p>\n The win also gave Mahomes another accolade to add to his list. The athlete became the quarterback with the most playoff victories<\/a> before the age of 30. According to StatMuse, Mahomes now has 13 wins and has passed Tom Brady<\/strong>\u2019s total of 12.<\/p>\n The Bills and Chiefs rivalry was in full swing on Sunday. The teams had leftover bad blood from their December 2023 regular season game. In the matchup, Kelce threw a pass to Kadarius Toney<\/strong> to score a touchdown. However, the referees called a penalty which cost them the points and the game.
