Alice Evans has insisted she and her daughters are \u2018all good\u2019 after her former husband Ioan Gruffudd got engaged<\/p>\n
The \u2018102 Dalmatians\u2019 actress, 55, whose bitter divorce from her \u2018Liar\u2019 actor ex, 50, was finalised in July 2023, made the remark when a fan asked her online how she and her two daughters, Ella, 14, and Elsie, 10, were doing. <\/p>\n
Alice got the question after posting a series of photos on Instagram of her dog Emma getting groomed. <\/p>\n
In the comments section, a fan asked the \u2018Vampire Diaries\u2019 star how she and her kids were doing, prompting Alice to reply: \u201cWe\u2019re good thank you!\u201d<\/p>\n
When another of her followers said Alice\u2019s dog has been her \u201cbest friend and family\u201d, Alice said: \u201cShe really has. It\u2019s amazing seeing what it has done for the girls \u2013 how having Emma has injected positivity and love and security into their lives. I\u2019m so glad we got her!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAlice also agreed with a fan who said a dog will \u201cnever let you down\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nThe actress has not otherwise publicly addressed her ex\u2019s engagement following their long and stormy divorce. <\/p>\n
\nIoan announced on Saturday (20.01.24) he had proposed to his 31-year-old girlfriend of nearly three years Bianca Wallace. <\/p>\n
\nThe couple captioned a joint Instagram post of them kissing as Bianca showed off her diamond engagement ring: \u201cThe most precious thing happened.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nIoan confirmed his romance with Bianca in October 2021, leading to Alice to accuse him of having a three-year affair with his younger lover. <\/p>\n
\nShe said in a now-deleted tweet at the time: \u201cSo it turns out that my husband, after two years of telling me I\u2019m a bad person and I\u2019m not exciting and he no longer want so to have sex with me and he just wants to be on set abroad\u2026 has been in a relationship for THREE years behind all our backs.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nBefore Ioan\u2019s relationship with Bianca emerged, Alice had claimed he had left her and their daughters, saying his departure made them \u201cvery confused and sad\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nShe tweeted in January 2021: \u201cWe haven\u2019t been given a reason except that he \u2018no longer loves me\u2019.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nTwo months after the post, Ioan filed for divorce from Evans. <\/p>\n
\nAnd in February 2022 the actor filed for a restraining order against his estranged wife, and was granted a three-year order six months later after claiming Alice had \u201cthreatened to tell people (he) had abused her and (their) daughters\u201d and \u201cthreatened to tell people (he was) a drug addict.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nTheir legal battle has also included their eldest daughter Ella trying to get a restraining order against Ioan, citing alleged abuse \u2013 but her request was not granted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
