Despite the religion controversy and celebrity look-a-likes, Lil Nas X’s new single (“J CHRIST”) struggled and debuted at no. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100, this after it was predicted to debut at no. 72 initially.<\/p>\n

It seems X and his team are scrambling due to the poor reception, because Lil Nas X has announced that his next single will drop next week.<\/p>\n

“We made it to billboard! I don’t want yall to think i take this for granted! I appreciate you and adore you. New song next week!” he wrote on his Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n
