Lindsay Lohan<\/strong><\/a> will reunite once again with her Mean Girls<\/em> costar Tim Meadows<\/strong> for a new Christmas movie.<\/p>\n

Lohan, 37, and Meadows, 62, will star in the new holiday Netflix film, Our Little Secret<\/em>. The movie \u2014 which currently has no release date \u2014 will focus on two resentful exes who are forced to spend Christmas in the same house after learning that their current partners are siblings.<\/p>\n

Ian Harding, Jon Rudnitsky, Chris Parnell, Dan Bucatinsky, Henry Czerny, Katie Baker, Ash Santos, Jake Brennan<\/strong> and Brian Unger<\/strong> will round out the cast.<\/p>\n

Meadows and Lohan first shared the screen in the original 2004 Mean Girls<\/em> film and appeared in the new 2024 musical film.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tMean Girls debuted in theaters on April 30, 2004 \u2014 but the teen film is celebrated annually on October 3, thanks to one of the movie\u2019s most memorable scenes. The film is responsible for creating iconic lines including, \u201cOn Wednesdays, we wear pink\u201d and \u201cIs butter a carb?\u201d But when Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) innocently [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Lohan\u2019s role of Cady Heron was taken by Angourie Rice<\/strong>, the Parent Trap<\/em> star made a brief cameo at the end of the film.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Mean Girls<\/em> creator Tina Fey<\/strong> discussed how she made Lohan\u2019s appearance happen<\/a> in the new iteration of the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cParamount was like, \u2018Can you get any of the original ladies? And I was like, \u2018I can\u2019t fit five people in,\u2019\u201d Fey, 53, explained to Entertainment Weekly<\/em> <\/a>at the time. \u201cI feel like if I could only get one person as a surprise, the original movie is really Lindsay\u2019s movie. As great as they all are, she\u2019s the heart of that movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Fey was trying to think of something for Lohan to do that \u201cyou wouldn\u2019t expect,\u201d she eventually landed on having Lohan appear in the third act of the movie as a moderator during the Mathletes competition, which includes Rice\u2019s Cady.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust to have her do that late in the movie, it also feels like it comes, I hope, at a time where fans weren\u2019t expecting one more little surprise,\u201d Fey shared. \u201cIt also lets her be smart, which Cady is.\u201d<\/p>\n
