Gilmore Girls<\/em><\/a> star Scott Patterson<\/strong> has definite thoughts on where his character, Luke Danes, and Lauren Graham<\/strong>\u2018s Lorelai Gilmore would be today after getting married at the end of the four-part Netflix reboot, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life<\/em>, in 2016.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019ve got a couple of kids now. That\u2019s the big surprise, even in their old age and they don\u2019t regret it,\u201d Scott, 65, told Elite Daily<\/a><\/em> on the red carpet of the Critics Choice Awards<\/a> on Sunday, January 14.<\/p>\n Scott also dished on several other characters, including Milo Ventimiglia<\/strong>\u2018s Jess, who \u201chas come back into the fold. He\u2019s their nanny.\u201d In addition to taking care of Luke and Lorelai\u2019s children, Jess also \u201cruns a gym. He opened up the Stars Hollow Gym.\u201d<\/p>\n While he didn\u2019t address Lorelai\u2019s daughter, Rory Gilmore, finding out she was pregnant at the end of the reboot, Scott did speculate she was back home being a small-town journalist. \u201cRory\u2019s back, and she\u2019s running the Stars Hollow Gazette. She\u2019s doing a lot of articles on the gym and on old people having kids,\u201d he quipped to the outlet about Alexis Bledel<\/strong>\u2018s character.<\/p>\n One of the most burning questions about the reboot was who the father of Rory\u2019s unborn child was.<\/p>\n One of the candidates was Logan Huntzberger, played \u200bby Matt Czuchry<\/strong>. He revealed that the show\u2019s creator and executive producer did have a character in mind, but that he wasn\u2019t in the position to share.<\/p>\n \u201cAmy<\/strong> [Sherman-Palladino<\/strong>] and Dan<\/strong> [Palladino<\/strong>], they told me who the father of the baby was, and they said, \u2018Yeah, you can tell whoever you want.\u2019 And I never have because one, that\u2019s for them to say,\u201d Matt, 46, told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in January 2021.<\/p>\n \u201cUltimately this is Amy and Dan\u2019s show and it\u2019s Lauren\u2019s show and it\u2019s Alexis\u2019 show. It\u2019s not mine. And so, for me, it doesn\u2019t feel like the right place to say who it may or may not be,\u201d The Good Wife<\/em> alum continued, adding, \u201cAlso, if we do come back, they may change their minds. So, it could become somebody else. Those are the reasons why I\u2019ve never said what they told me on set.\u201d<\/p>\n
