Don\u2019t Be Tardy<\/span><\/i> star<\/span> Kim Zolciak-Biermann<\/b><\/a> famously said that she hardly ever liked to leave her Alpharetta, Georgia, mansion \u2014 <\/span>however, she was nearly forced to as the house was scheduled to hit the auction block after being facing foreclosure.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In Touch <\/span><\/i>confirmed on February 17, that the nearly 7,000 square-foot property was set to be sold at auction to \u201cthe highest bidder for cash\u201d on March 7 during Fulton County\u2019s courthouse\u2019s legal hours of sale. However, just one week later, the auction was reportedly canceled.<\/span><\/p>\n Brock & Scott, PLLC\u2019s law office noted that the home was taken off the auction on Wednesday, February 22, according to Entertainment Tonight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time the home nearly faced foreclosure, however. <\/span>Following the cancellation of the family\u2019s long-running series in May 2021, Kim and her retired NFL star husband, Kroy Evan Biermann<\/strong><\/a>, failed to pay back a loan of $300,000 and the Fulton County property was set to be auctioned off \u201con the first Tuesday in November, 2022\u201d to the highest bidder, according to the notice of sale under power viewed by<\/span> In Touch <\/span><\/i>on October 25, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n The 6,907-square-foot home was foreclosed \u201cbecause of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The Bravo star moved into her \u201cdream home\u201d with her family in 2013 and gushed about the luxurious residence that featured a movie theater, a basketball court, a man cave for Kroy, as well as a gym and spa.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI absolutely love [our home],\u201d the former<\/span> Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/span><\/i><\/a> personality said as she gave viewers a tour of the five-bedroom house, which she and Kroy reportedly purchased for $880,000 in 2012.\u00a0 But it\u2019s Kim\u2019s entertainment room, a.k.a. the \u201cHollywood Room,\u201d that the \u201cTardy for the Party\u201d songstress loved the most.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThis is my favorite room in the whole house. It\u2019s called the \u2018Hollywood Room,\u2019 and this is actually my girls\u2019 TV room where they hang out with their friends. And I am obsessed with this room,\u201d the mom-of-six \u2014 who shares KJ, Kash and twins Kane and Kaia with Kroy and older daughters, Brielle and<\/span> Ariana<\/span><\/a> from a previous relationship \u2014 has said. \u201cI did f\u2014king good up here. Proud of myself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Though she was hesitant on the home\u2019s elevator,<\/span> Kim<\/span> joked the mechanical lift was the perfect place to get her freak on with her hunky athlete hubby. \u201cThat\u2019s a really great place to have sex or hide presents in my house when you have six kids and a lot of staff,\u201d she quipped back in 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n Kim often escaped to her backyard for peace and quiet \u2014 which included an in-ground pool and a hot tub. \u201cThis is paradise right here for me.
