Lala Kent<\/strong><\/a> is giving an update on her friendship with Katie Maloney<\/strong><\/a> ahead of the premiere of the \u201creally tough\u201d season of Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a rocky season, and it was extremely hard and sad,\u201d Kent, 33, told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively on Wednesday, January 17, at the VPR<\/em> season 11 premiere event<\/a> in Los Angeles. \u201cEspecially because we were just ride-or-die season 10<\/a>. That made me sad, but we\u2019re good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kent explained that she likes having \u201cfriendships where we can have ups and downs and then find common ground\u201d more than anything.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to always agree, I want to be able to evolve with you,\u201d she added. \u201cI want you to teach me something about myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tVanderpump Rules has officially been renewed for season 11 \u2014 and viewers are in for a messy return in the aftermath of Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval\u2018s cheating scandal. Us Weekly confirmed in March 2023 that Sandoval and Ariana Madix had called it quits after nearly a decade of dating due to his infidelity. As [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When it comes to Maloney, 37, specifically, Kent added: \u201cI love Katie.\u201d<\/p>\n

One person Kent appears to have some lingering tension with, however, is former VPR<\/em> cast member Kristen Doute<\/strong>. Fans started to speculate earlier Kent wasn\u2019t on the best terms with Doute<\/a>, 40, following an Amazon Live earlier this month. At the time, Kent was asked if she listens to Doute\u2019s \u201cSex, Love and What Else Matters\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know who that is so no,\u201d Kent responded, saying \u201cno\u201d when asked if she would ever be a guest on said podcast. \u201cDoes she still have a podcast? I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kent played coy at Wednesday\u2019s premiere party when asked about the potential rift. \u201cI\u2019m just going to let her stay over there and I\u2019m going to stay right here,\u201d she told Us<\/em>, offering no further explanation.<\/p>\n

Vanderpump Rules<\/em> season 11<\/a> will follow the show\u2019s landmark 10th season, which offered more details into Tom Sandoval<\/strong> and Rachel \u201cRaquel\u201d Leviss<\/strong> affair, which was aptly dubbed Scandoval. Kent said that, for her, the forthcoming season will showcase her \u201cprocessing my life\u201d and crying a lot.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have two speeds. We\u2019re either ripping someone\u2019s head off or we\u2019re sobbing. And this season we were sobbing because it was the only thing I could possibly do to process what I was going through,\u201d Kent explained, seemingly alluding to her ups and downs<\/a> with ex-fianc\u00e9 Randall Emmett<\/strong>. \u201cEven before Scandoval happened, I was running in adrenaline, I was out for blood from every man in the world, I was ready to put all of their heads on spikes outside of my house.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhen viewers were introduced to staff at Lisa Vanderpump\u2018s restaurant during Vanderpump Rules\u2018 2013 premiere, it was clear everyone was intertwined in one another\u2019s love lives. From Stassi Schroeder\u2018s rocky relationship with Jax Taylor, which took a turn when he hooked up with her best friend Kristen Doute, to Peter Madrigal\u2019s casual connections to several [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following Scandoval, Kent said she was reminded of \u201cwhy I think everyone\u2019s a piece of s\u2014t.\u201d Even though Vanderpump Rules<\/em> is a TV show, it\u2019s also \u201creal life\u201d for the Bravolebrity.<\/p>\n
