Looking forward to getting back to work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Camilla was at the gallery to open a new &#8216;Safe Space&#8217;, which would provide help and guidance to people if they are concerned someone is experiencing domestic abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Buckingham Palace announced on Wednesday (17.01.24) that the king will receive hospital treatment for the benign condition next week.<\/p>\n<p>\nA royal spokesperson said: \u201cIn common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate. <\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cHis Majesty\u2019s condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure. <\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cThe King\u2019s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\nThe announcement came less than two hours after it was revealed the king&#8217;s daughter-in-law, Catherine, Princess of Wales, was to spend 10-14 days in hospital for planned abdominal surgery and is unlikely to return to official duties until Easter.<\/p>\n<p>\nA statement from Kensington Palace explained: &#8220;Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for planned abdominal surgery. <\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nNo more details about the princess&#8217; medical condition have been disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe statement added: &#8220;The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate.
