The 40-year-old actress would love to take her ‘Lift’ co-star Kevin Hart<\/a> up on the London landmark and share her years of experience to talk him through the spectacular scenes of the city.<\/p>\n

Asked where she would take Kevin for a “classic British experience”, she told Dev Griffin on ‘The Heart Evening Show’: “Oh my gosh, you know what, I’d probably take you on the London Eye because I used to work on the London Eye as a tour guide.<\/p>\n

“When I was at drama school, I used to be one of the guides that would tell you all about the sites.”<\/p>\n

Gugu also used to share her knowledge on the city’s river boat tours – and had a “really special” moment on her first day of shooting ‘Lift’ in London because the vessel she used to work on passed them.<\/p>\n

\nShe explained: “You know what was crazy, actually, is we did the [London] Eye and then we did the river cruise, as well as tour guides.<\/p>\n

\n” And on our first day of filming, me and Kevin, we’re on the South Bank, we had a scene on the river looking out to the Thames. And you know it’s first day nerves. We’re in London, it’s the beginning of the movie. <\/p>\n

\n“And I see the boat that I used to work on, just go by and I was like ‘Kevin you’ll never believe this’. Like I used to be the tour guide on that boat. <\/p>\n

\n“So it was kind of like a full circle moment. It was really special.”<\/p>\n
