Brad Pitt<\/a> had a run-in with some of his ex’s family members. The actor recently stepped out to attend\u00a0<\/span>Moneyball\u00a0<\/span><\/em>director Bennett Miller’s art exhibit at Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills, and ran into <\/span>Angelina Jolie<\/a>‘s dad, <\/span>Jon Voight<\/a>, and brother, James Haven.<\/span><\/p>\n An eyewitness tells ET that Pitt seemed happy at the art gallery event, which he\u00a0attended with <\/span>Ines de Ramon<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n A different eyewitness tells ET, “Brad and Ines were friendly and nice to event goers and said hi to and spoke to other celebrity attendees.”<\/span><\/p>\n A third eyewitness adds that “Brad and Ines were sweet together and stayed close to each other throughout the event.”<\/span><\/p>\n “Brad seemed like he was in a good mood and happy at the Bennett Miller event at the Gagosian,” another eyewitness tells ET. “He was with Ines talking and having a nice time. Brad did not speak to Jon.”<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, an eyewitness tells\u00a0<\/span>The Sun <\/span><\/em>that “plenty of people noticed how awkward it was that Brad was in the same room as Ange’s family, and it’s not a big space.”<\/span><\/p>\n “I’m told James was amicable and acknowledged Brad,\u00a0but I didn’t see them\u00a0talking,” the eyewitness adds. “They mostly stood apart for the duration of the event speaking with friends.”<\/span><\/p>\n Britney Spears<\/a>‘ ex,\u00a0<\/span>Sam Asghari<\/a>, was also in attendance at the event. The actor snapped a pic with Pitt, before he was seen chatting with Jolie’s family.<\/span><\/p>\n Jolie and Pitt\u00a0announced their split in 2016, and have spent the last seven years\u00a0<\/span>in an up and down legal battle<\/a>. They share\u00a0Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.<\/span><\/p>\n Back in 2016, <\/span>Voight reacted<\/a> to his daughter’s divorce, telling ET,\u00a0“It must have been pretty severe for this to happen. I don’t know much yet, but [I] plan on speaking to her and the kids very soon.”<\/span><\/p>\n Earlier this month, Haven <\/span>gave a rare interview<\/a> about him, Jolie and her kids, explaining on the\u00a0<\/span>90who10\u00a0<\/em>podcast<\/a>\u00a0why it’s “natural” to be protective of his sister and her kids.<\/span><\/p>\n “Any time I’m blessed to be in their presence, I want to be in their presence,” he said. “I set my life up so I can be present with whatever the situation… I want to be there for them or for her, whatever she’s going through.”<\/span><\/p>\n
