Former Bachelor<\/em><\/a> star Ben Higgins<\/strong><\/a> weighed in on whether or not he thinks ABC should take a break from Bachelor in Paradise<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think it would be hurtful for the show to take a pause on Bachelor in Paradise<\/em> and to kind of regather new talent, regather people that we\u2019re familiar with that we\u2019re rooting for, and then reintroduce the show again,\u201d Ben, 34, exclusively tells Life & Style.<\/em><\/p>\n While Ben adds that he doesn\u2019t know anything specific about the fate of Bachelor in Paradise<\/em>, he tells Life & Style<\/em> he doesn\u2019t \u201cthink it should go down the path of Bachelor Pad<\/em> where it kind of came and went. A source previously revealed to Life & Style<\/em><\/a> that BiP<\/em> might be at the end of its journey.<\/p>\n \u201cThe buzz is that the network may cancel Paradise<\/em> and focus their attention on making their Bachelor<\/em> and Bachelorette<\/em> shows better. It seems like the more mature contestants on Gerry\u2019s season drove newer viewers in and the younger fans loved it,\u201d the insider exclusively revealed on January 2, ahead of star Gerry Turner<\/strong>\u2019s wedding to Theresa Nist<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIt seems [The Golden Bachelor\u2019s<\/em>] success shined a spotlight on Bachelor in Paradise\u2019s<\/em> less than stellar ratings,\u201d the source continued. \u201cThe audience tuned in to watch Gerry Turner respectfully pick a wife on The Golden Bachelor<\/em> and then they tuned out for the younger couple\u2019s immature antics on Paradise<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n To make matters worse, none of the couples who got together in Bachelor in Paradise<\/em> season 9<\/a> lasted more than three weeks after the season finale aired. Fans were quick to voice their complaints about the outcomes of the couples on the show\u2019s official Instagram<\/a> page.<\/p>\n \u201cNot a good season of BiP<\/em> this year,\u201d wrote one fan. \u201cToo much crying, too much drama, too much fighting, focusing so much on an engagement and then everyone leaves, and no one stayed together.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
