Marlon Brando<\/a> \u2013 17 months ago in August 2022 with his now ex-girlfriend Alyson Kierans, while starring as a scheming Oxford student in Emerald Fennell\u2019s hit Netflix film.<\/p>\nHe told the February issue of GQ about becoming a dad for the first time while making the drama: \u201cThey gave me a day off. Day off, and straight on to night shoots and night feedings \u2013 boom!\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u2018Banshees of Inisherin\u2019 actor added: \u201cIt was probably the best time of my life, to be quite fair. Havin\u2019 a baby boy and leading a movie. It was the best time of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Barry added about constantly having his son on his mind: \u201cI feel an enormous amount of pressure, which is good.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd I can\u2019t get the little boy off my mind. It\u2019s beautiful. Y\u2019know, it\u2019s crazy, but when he looks at you, you feel like the most important person in the world. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat\u2019s the effect he has on me. He smiles at you and you\u2019re like, \u2018Wow, you\u2019re smiling at me like that? I don\u2019t deserve that, but anyways, thanks.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBarry has now split from his girlfriend of three years Alyson, and confirmed it in his chat with GQ after rumours they were no longer an item were first reported in July.<\/p>\n
\nHe told the magazine about his ex: \u201cShe\u2019s done a great job, and she\u2019s an incredible mother.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe magazine noted that in July \u201cthe tabloids reported (Barry and Alyson had) split, and added he offered \u201cnothing further\u201d when talking about his dating life other than to praise her as a mum.<\/p>\n
\nA source told The Sun last year about the couple\u2019s split: \u201cThey\u2019ve grown apart over recent months, and things have finally come to a head.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe publication added Barry\u2019s \u201cpartying\u201d had \u201ccaused arguments\u201d with his orthodontist ex.<\/p>\n
\nAn insider also said the pair\u2019s relationship had \u201csuffered\u201d following the success of the Oscar nominee\u2019s 2022 film \u2018The Banshees of Inisherin\u2019.<\/p>\n
\nSince his breakup from Alyson, Barry \u2013 who is also famed for his creepy turn alongside fellow Irishman Colin Farrell in \u2018The Killing of a Sacred Deer\u2019 \u2013 has been linked to former Disney Channel actress Sabrina Carpenter, 24, after they were photographed dining together in December.<\/p>\n
\nBut a source has told Page Six exclusively there is \u201cno truth\u201d to rumours that the pair are romantically involved.<\/p>\n
