However, some social media users have taken things a step too far \u2014 and the stars haven\u2019t held back in their responses.<\/a><\/p>\n After season 4 of Selling Sunset<\/em> premiered<\/a> in November 2021, Christine Quinn<\/strong><\/a> was quickly accused of lying about her pregnancy due to how active she appeared<\/a> to be shortly after her son\u2019s harrowing May 2021 delivery.<\/p>\n At the time, Quinn reposted one message from an Instagram user who asked, \u201cWhy did you fake your pregnancy? It\u2019s totally OK to admit to having a surrogate but don\u2019t set unrealistic expectations for PP moms when you didn\u2019t even carry the baby yourself. It\u2019s deceitful and a shame.\u201d<\/p>\n The How to be a Boss Bitch<\/em> author swiftly shut down the accusations<\/a>, tweeting in November 2021, \u201cFor all yall still mad on pregnancy gate please go look at my ig stories. And apologize. This is seriously so hurtful.\u201d<\/p>\n Another fan showed support for Quinn, writing, \u201cYou can post a picture of giving birth and these conspiracy people still won\u2019t believe you. Kinda sick,\u201d to which she answered, \u201c[Haha] so true babe.\u201d<\/p>\n The Texas native previously admitted that she wasn\u2019t in a rush to expand<\/a> her family after welcoming son Christian with her husband, Christian Richard<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s something that we definitely have been talking about, but my birth was so, so traumatic,\u201d Quinn exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in June 2021, one month after her baby\u2019s arrival<\/a>. \u201cNormally, right away I\u2019d be like, \u2018Yeah, let\u2019s go,\u2019 but it\u2019s left me a little hesitant. I really, really want to know I\u2019m healed, and the time is right before we\u2019re thinking about it. But it would be nice.\u201d<\/p>\n Quinn noted that she was trying not to put \u201cany pressure\u201d on herself<\/a> after undergoing an emergency C-section.<\/p>\n \u201cWhatever my body went through and what women deal with when they have babies is really crazy. I think your body will never really be the same. My body and my hormones will never be the same, but that\u2019s something I really embraced and I\u2019m kind of rolling with it,\u201d she told Us<\/em> at the time. \u201cI was just like, \u2018I don\u2019t care what anyone thinks of me. I might look ridiculous and swollen, but I don\u2019t care. I had a baby. That\u2019s powerful enough!\u201d<\/p>\n When season 4 hit Netflix<\/a>, viewers watched Quinn outline her traumatic birth story to costars Vanessa Villela<\/strong><\/a> and Amanza Smith<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was coming out sideways, and his umbilical cord was wrapped around him,\u201d Quinn said during a November 2021 episode. \u201cThey said his heart rate\u2019s going down. All I hear is, \u2018Emergency C-section. Let\u2019s go, let\u2019s go!\u2019 [Christian] was absolutely freaking out. \u2026 My heart rate was going down, the baby\u2019s heart rate was going down, and then one of the nurses went up to Christian and said, \u2018You need to make a priority right now. You have to choose one.\u2019 He was like, \u2018Both.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n As her journey to motherhood played out on reality TV, Quinn revealed how hard it was to film while going through some major<\/a> personal changes.<\/p>\n \u201cI was pregnant on top of dealing with postpartum depression. This season was really difficult for me,\u201d she said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/em> in December 2021. \u201cI did the best that I could with the emotions that I was dealing with at the time and that I\u2019m still dealing with now. The problem that I was facing [was] everyone was saying, \u2018Oh, well, you know, she\u2019s so thin. She\u2019s so this. She\u2019s so that.\u2019 But inside I was dealing with PTSD.\u201d<\/p>\n
