She has previously hosted the Swedish celebrity dance competition series \u200b\u200bLet\u2019s Dance<\/em>, weight loss contest Biggest Loser<\/em>, and the sports game show Superstars<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI am so excited to be a part of this fascinating and completely unique experiment,\u201d Jessica said in the press release. \u201cI have been a big Love is Blind<\/em> fan ever since the first season aired in the U.S. It feels fantastic that I now have the opportunity to host the Swedish version and be there to support our brave participants,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n Like its American counterpart, Love Is Blind: Sweden<\/em> will follow 33 \u201csingles who want to be loved for who they are on the inside\u201d as they \u201cchoose someone to marry without seeing them,\u201d according to Netflix. Only after the couples are engaged can they see who they\u2019ve already agreed to spend the rest of their lives with.<\/p>\n \u201cOver the next four weeks, they\u2019ll move in together, plan their wedding, and attempt to add a physical connection to their emotional bond,\u201d the press release for the show continued. \u201cWhen their wedding day arrives, will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with? Or have the physical realities and external factors sabotaged their relationship?\u201d<\/p>\n The series will air in three main Friday installments, with four episodes premiering on January 12, four on January 19, and two wedding episodes on January 26. Netflix also revealed there will be a fourth and final \u201cbatch\u201d of episodes, which will be announced at a later date and feature a reunion with the cast.<\/p>\n The contestants\u2019 emotional connection with their partners is evident in the season\u2019s trailer, despite the pairs having ever seen what the other looked like.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never met her but I want to spend the rest of my life with her,\u201d one man is seen gushing about his mystery woman.<\/p>\n \u201cIf my gut feeling is correct, I\u2019ve found the right one,\u201d another participant said.<\/p>\n However, there was trouble in paradise for some after their partner\u2019s face was revealed, with one woman telling her blind match, \u201cEither we misunderstood each other, or you lied.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHow can you hide something like this?\u201d another is seen asking her partner through tears.<\/p>\n The 33 hopefuls, who were announced on December 14, 2023, include a vice president of a security company, a firefighter, a yoga teacher, a soccer coach, and three nurses.
