The comic and actress, 68, temporarily left the set of the ABC talk show when her co-hosts started to discuss an advice column in which an anonymous person said his wife stopped allowing him to give her foot massages after he told her he had a fetish.<\/p>\n
Whoopi\u2019s fellow presenter Alyssa Farah Griffin, 34, said: \u201cYou have to entertain your partner\u2019s kink, within reason.\u201d<\/p>\n
It prompted Whoopi to say: \u201cExcuse me for a second,\u201d before she left the stage and said: \u201cKeep talking!\u201d<\/p>\n
Alyssa then joked: \u201cWhoopi has left the building.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhen panellist Joy Behar, 81, asked Whoopi when she returned why she had briefly walked away, the \u2018Ghost\u2019 actress did not give a straight answer, but appeared to hand something to someone off-camera.<\/p>\n
\nShe then joked: \u201cI was so enamoured by what you were saying that I felt that I needed to take a breath so I could just get myself together, so I could come back to the table!<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo, I just got up and walked away and just got myself together!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhen Joy responded: \u201cThis is what my feet do to people,\u201d Whoopi went on: \u201cThis is what this conversation does to people. It makes them get up and move.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe concluded: \u201cI don\u2019t care \u2019cause my feet are huge, and no one wants to touch them!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhoopi is no stranger to leaving the table during \u2018The View\u2019 when topics come up that have no interest for her.<\/p>\n
\nLast year, she star removed herself from the stage over a heated debate regarding Miranda Lambert\u2019s decision to stop a concert and yell at fans who were taking selfies.<\/p>\n
\nDuring the July 2023 episode, Whoopi seemed annoyed when she brought up the topic to her co-hosts, even rolling her eyes and letting out a sigh while giving background on the story.<\/p>\n
\nThe TV host took Miranda\u2019s side, saying fans should\u2019ve shown \u201cat least a little respect\u201d during the country singer\u2019s show.<\/p>\n
\nWhen her co-host Sunny Hostin, 55, said she should be able to take as many selfies as she wants after paying nearly $800 for tickets, Whoopi appeared aggravated, stood up from her seat and made her way into the audience \u2013 saying: \u201cI\u2019m leaving, y\u2019all!\u201d, and proceeding to take selfies with audience members to prove her point before the show went to an ad break.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
