Whoopi Goldberg<\/strong><\/a> has made it clear she is sensitive about her feet.<\/p>\n

The EGOT winner, 68, walked off the set <\/a>of The View<\/em> <\/a>during the Tuesday, January 9, episode after beginning a conversation about foot fetishes.<\/p>\n

Goldberg introduced the segment as she talked about an anonymous man who wrote to The Guardian<\/em>\u2018s advice column with a question about feet.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis wife always enjoyed when he gave her a foot massage, until he admitted he had a foot fetish. Now, foot massages are off the table,\u201d she said. \u201cHe thinks it\u2019s a little weird that as soon as he revealed that foot massages also gave him pleasure, his wife withdrew.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSince The View premiered in August 1997, more than 20 women have had permanent roles as cohosts on the ABC morning talk show. The series, which was created by Barbara Walters, features a multi-generational panel that conducts interviews and discusses the news of the day, ranging from politics to entertainment. The original lineup was comprised [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Goldberg then asked whether a foot fetish would be a \u201cturnoff\u201d for her cohosts. All of her colleagues immediately chimed in, but Goldberg stayed quiet.<\/p>\n

Alyssa Farah Griffin<\/strong>, for one, was on board. \u201cI wish my husband had a foot fetish and wanted to give foot rubs,\u201d she quipped. \u201cIt seems like a great problem to have.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sunny Hostin<\/strong> agreed, noting that it seems like the couple from the advice column should theoretically be a great match. \u201cIsn\u2019t it great that he has a fetish?\u201d she asked. \u201cIf you love foot massages and you happen to be married to a guy with a foot fetish that wants to give massages, it\u2019s like the perfect marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the ladies debated the topic, Goldberg kept mum. When Griffin interjected, \u201cYou have to entertain your partner\u2019s kink, within reason,\u201d Goldberg simply stood up and walked away.<\/p>\n

\u201cExcuse me for a second, keep talking,\u201d the Sister Act<\/em> star<\/a> said as she briefly left the stage and handed a card to someone off-camera.<\/p>\n

Griffin, 34, quipped, \u201cWhoopi has left the building.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhoopi Goldberg has made headlines for her controversial remarks just as often as she has for her storied, EGOT-winning career. The View cohost found herself in hot water throughout 2022 after making antisemitic comments about the Holocaust that led to a two-week suspension from the long-running ABC talk show in February. The Ghost star, who [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Joy Behar<\/strong> <\/a>then explained why she didn\u2019t weigh in on the subject.<\/p>\n

\u201dNot to brag, my feet have created foot fetishes out there, so I can\u2019t really respond,\u201d Behar, 81, said. \u201cI feel like I am responsible for a lot of the foot fetishes out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Goldberg returned to her seat, she placed her hands on her face, letting it be known she was not interested in the discussion.<\/p>\n

When Behar asked why she left, Goldberg didn\u2019t hesitate to explain.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so enamored by what you were saying that I felt that I needed to take a breath so I could just get myself together, so I could come back to the table!\u201d she joked. \u201cSo, I just got up and walked away and just got myself together!\u201d<\/p>\n

Behar then quipped, \u201cThis is what my feet do to people.\u201d Goldberg, however, didn\u2019t take the bait, replying, \u201cThis is what this conversation does to people. It makes them get up and move.\u201d<\/p>\n

As an actress and film producer, she is most well-known for her roles in Sister Act, The Color Purple and Ghost, as well as her longstanding cohosting duties on The View. She is the first African American woman to earn the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Goldberg went on to admit that she\u2019s not particularly interested in feet because of her own appendages. \u201cI don\u2019t care \u2019cause my feet are huge, and no one wants to touch them,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Feet were also a hot topic on The View<\/em> in February 2022 <\/a>when the hosts discussed whether it\u2019s appropriate to ask guests to remove their shoes when they come to your home.<\/p>\n

Goldberg said she disagreed with demanding that guests take off their shoes.<\/p>\n
