The 2024 Golden Globes<\/a> saw a major reunion for four of the stars of Suits<\/em>, and they\u2019ve revealed why costar Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> wasn\u2019t among them, even though she\u2019s gone on to become the most famous former cast member.<\/p>\n When a reporter on the red carpet told alum Gina Torres<\/strong>, \u201cEverywhere I look, there\u2019s a star from Suits! Did you plan this? Are you all texting each other?\u201d she responded, \u201cYeah, our text thread is insane right now!\u201d<\/p>\n When asked where Meghan, 42, was and if she was part of the text chain, Gina, 54, replied \u201cWe don\u2019t have her number. We just don\u2019t, so\u2026 She\u2019ll see, she\u2019ll watch. She\u2019ll be happy that we\u2019re here.\u201d<\/p>\n Meghan played paralegal Rachel Zane on the first seven seasons of Suits before being written off along with lead and love interest Patrick J. Adams<\/strong>, as the \u200bon screen couple got married and moved to Seattle. She married<\/a> Prince Harry<\/strong> the following year in May 2018.<\/p>\n Gina joined Patrick, 42, Gabriel Macht<\/strong> and Sarah Rafferty<\/strong> on stage at the Globes to hand out the Best TV Drama Series trophy, which went to Succession<\/em>. Suits<\/em> originally aired on USA from 2011 through 2019, but gained a brand-new audience when it became a surprise viewing smash<\/a> \u200bafter landing on Netflix in the summer of 2023.<\/p>\n
