Luka Brunton<\/strong>\u2018s time on Below Deck Mediterranean<\/em><\/a> has been riddled with romantic connections \u2014 and not all of them have taken place on board.<\/p>\n

In 2023, Bravo fans were introduced to Luka on season 2 of Below Deck Down Under<\/em><\/a> where he briefly got caught up in a love triangle with Jaimee Neale<\/strong> and Culver Bradbury<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Captain Jason Chambers<\/strong> later recommended Luka to Captain Sandy Yawn<\/strong><\/a> and he was offered a position on the deck team for season 8 of Below Deck Med<\/em>, which aired months later. However, Ruan Irving<\/strong> forging his paperwork<\/a> helped Luka move up the ranks from a provisional bosun to leading the exterior team.<\/p>\n

Throughout the season, Luka was able to balance his job and his love life with surprising success. He developed a flirtationship with Natalya Scudder<\/strong><\/a> but it didn\u2019t get far because she was trying to figure out her open relationship with an offscreen boyfriend.<\/p>\n

Luka later confirmed to Us Weekly<\/em> that he didn\u2019t actually didn\u2019t end up with anyone<\/a> in the Below Deck<\/em> universe.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m in a relationship at the moment. [I\u2019m] back with my partner that I was with before the show,\u201d he revealed to Us<\/em> during BravoCon<\/a> in November 2023. \u201cWe split up [before] the show and we\u2019re back together now. I don\u2019t think she\u2019s watching [this season]. It\u2019s probably good.\u201d<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t take long for sparks to fly between Luka and Natalya during season 8 of Below Deck Med<\/em>. Despite being interested in each other, Natalya was actually hesitant to take it further because of a confusing open relationship with her then-boyfriend.<\/p>\n

Natalya and Luka made out a few times but ultimately parted ways when she left early to figure out the issues in her personal life. The pair kept in touch though through flirty messages, which Luka didn\u2019t tell Jessika about<\/a> amid their fling.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust because [Jess and I] are hooking up and maybe I don\u2019t want to be in a relationship doesn\u2019t mean I don\u2019t care about her. Everyone has their feelings,\u201d he said in a January 2024 episode. \u201cI never said to Jess that I wanted a relationship. So there\u2019s no strings. \u201cThis whole situation is really annoying. But at the same time, it is not my business on who he is talking to,\u201d she told the cameras in a January 2024 episode. \u201cI\u2019m not going to deprive myself of having fun. I\u2019m just going to go into all of this with my eyes open.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luka, for his part, wasn\u2019t sweating the drama because he wasn\u2019t expecting a future<\/a> with Jessika.<\/p>\n
