Season 3 of The Bear<\/em> <\/a>hasn\u2019t started filming yet, but Us Weekly<\/em> is already thinking about what we\u2019d like to see happen in the new episodes.<\/p>\n

The hit Hulu series, which debuted in June 2022, introduced viewers to The Beef restaurant, which was taken over by Carmy (Jeremy Allen White<\/strong><\/a>) following the death of his older brother, Mikey (Jon Bernthal<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Season 1 focused on Carmy\u2019s attempts to help the sandwich shop thrive while dealing with his own grief. Those episodes paved the way for the second season, which followed Carmy, Sydney (Ayo Edebiri<\/strong>) and other employees at The Beef as they tried to open up a new restaurant called The Bear.<\/p>\n

The season 2 finale seemingly ended on a high note<\/a> when the first dinner at The Bear was a success. In the kitchen, however, things quickly began to unravel, and most of the show\u2019s characters have big obstacles to face<\/a> in the third season.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Bear has been renewed for season 3, and the newest episodes can\u2019t come soon enough. The series, which debuted in June 2022, explores the food industry through the lens of a talented chef named Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), who returns to Chicago to run his older brother Mikey\u2019s (Jon Bernthal) restaurant following his death. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The cast has mostly remained tight-lipped about season 3, but White hinted at one thing fans can expect. \u201cFor the second season, so much of it was about putting the restaurant together, so there wasn\u2019t that much cooking,\u201d he told Variety<\/em> in December 2023. \u201cBut now, in the third season, I think we\u2019re going to go back to that functioning kitchen atmosphere that we had in the first.\u201d<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no reason to even pretend this isn\u2019t at the top of the list for Us<\/em>. The idea of Carmy and Sydney as a potential couple isn\u2019t every fan\u2019s cup of tea<\/a>, but there\u2019s no denying the chemistry that seeps out of every scene between White and Edebiri.<\/p>\n

Both Carmy and Sydney have plenty going on in their personal and professional lives that makes them think they aren\u2019t ready for a relationship. But if executed well, Carmy and Sydney could seamlessly transition from partners and best friends to so much more.<\/p>\n

The entire show already hinges on their connection because of how well they understand each other<\/a>. It only makes sense that they should end up together in the end.<\/p>\n

Plus, it\u2019s pretty obvious after Carmy\u2019s failed romance with Claire (Molly Gordon<\/strong>) in season 2 that there\u2019s no better match<\/a> than the person who is already in your life. Sorry, Claire!<\/p>\n

Since The Bear debuted in 2022, viewers and fans alike have been divided on whether the show should explore the potential romantic feelings between [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2. Luca Pays a Visit to Chicago \u2014 and His Bromance With Marcus Continues<\/h3>\n

Giving Us<\/em> just one episode with Will Poulter<\/strong> playing a dessert chef wouldn\u2019t be fair. Aside from how effectively Poulter stole any scene he was in, his character Luca\u2019s friendship with Marcus was so sweet. Season 2 hinted that Marcus will be dealing with his mother\u2019s passing<\/a>, so it would only make sense to give him another person in his corner.<\/p>\n

It also doesn\u2019t hurt that Poulter is such a big fan of The Bear<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI called them. I literally begged to be in the show,\u201d Poulter told Variety in July 2023. \u201cI asked if I could meet with [the show\u2019s creator] Chris Storer<\/strong> and basically communicated that I was such a fan of so much of his work, but especially The Bear.\u201d<\/p>\n

3. Carmy and Natalie Work on Repairing Their Relationship With Their Mother<\/h3>\n

There\u2019s something about how Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong> brings the role of Donna to life that makes Us<\/em> want to see more. It\u2019s hard to imagine how that could work when season 2 showed how much Donna\u2019s issues inspired the challenges her children faced, but there\u2019s no way Curtis would agree to play such a crucial role if she wasn\u2019t going to come back. Her attempt to support Carmy and Natalie<\/a> on their big night \u2014 even though she ultimately couldn\u2019t go inside the restaurant \u2014 proved that Donna wants to be there for her kids.<\/p>\n

4. Another \u2018Fishes\u2019 Episode With Plenty of Guest Stars<\/h3>\n

The Bear<\/em> fans thought nothing could rival the unbelievably tense \u201cReview\u201d from season 1 \u2014 until \u201cFishes.\u201d The extra-long episode kicked things up a notch with a guest star at every turn<\/a>. Despite the friendly faces, the Christmas-themed episode built on the stress that every member of the Berzatto family felt until it erupted into a huge fight that ended with a car being driven through the dining room.<\/p>\n

It feels like The Bear<\/em> couldn\u2019t possibly top that, but the Hulu show definitely loves a challenge. We would love to see another surprising episode featuring fan-favorite actors and more Berzatto backstory.<\/p>\n
