The Bear<\/em>\u2018s Ayo Edebiri<\/strong> kept it professional when she was asked \u2014 repeatedly \u2014 about costar Jeremy Allen White<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s steamy Calvin Klein campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Edebiri, 28, was pressed about her reaction to the ads while attending the 2024 Golden Globe Awards<\/a> on Sunday, January 7, initially playing along when the topic came up on the red carpet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m bulking up,\u201d she told Entertainment Tonight,<\/em> teasing that she was inspired to hit the gym after seeing White\u2019s photo shoot. \u201cSo I\u2019m eating, I\u2019m on the protein, I\u2019m on the creatine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Edebiri joked that she\u2019d be focusing on her abs specifically during the \u201csecond quarter\u201d of the year. \u201cQuads [are] Q3. And then, back up to the arms, actually,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re leaving the rest of the leg, we\u2019re leaving it alone.\u201d<\/p>\n

The questions didn\u2019t slow down as the night went on. She joined Abbott Elementary<\/em>\u2018s Quinta Brunson<\/strong> for a red carpet interview with Access Hollywood<\/em> and had to look away when shown a more NSFW pic of White, 32.<\/p>\n

\u201cJeremy, put that away,\u201d Brunson, 34, quipped in a video shared via TikTok<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Edebiri insisted she was \u201chappy\u201d for her costar. \u201cThat\u2019s my boy, you know what I mean?\u201d she said. \u201cI do feel like I want people to understand he\u2019s my coworker.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bear<\/em> won big at the Golden Globes, with both Edebiri and White taking home individual trophies<\/a> for their performances. The Hulu hit also earned the Best Television Series \u2013 Musical or Comedy award. When gathered backstage after their win, the cast was once again asked about White\u2019s campaign.<\/p>\n

Edebiri could be heard saying, \u201cI feel like I know what it is,\u201d under her breath as the interviewer turned to pick up an enlarged photo from the Calvin Klein shoot. She stepped forward to take the prop away as White laughed awkwardly.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m putting it away for my boy! That\u2019s my boy,\u201d she teased, emphasizing, \u201cThis is a work function!\u201d<\/p>\n

Abby Elliott<\/strong> and more of the cast joined in to defend their \u201cfamily,\u201d with Ebon Moss-Bachrach<\/strong> joking, \u201cWe\u2019re not at [the] underwear awards, you know what I mean? We\u2019re here to talk about our show.\u201d<\/p>\n
