It’s a stylish night for the cast of <\/span>Abbott Elementary<\/em><\/a>! The stars of ABC’s hit comedy series hit the red carpet of the\u00a081st\u00a0<\/span>Golden Globe Awards<\/a>\u00a0in style, ready to celebrate whatever the night will bring as they gear up for <\/span>the premiere of their show’s third season<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bDespite fewer nominations than <\/span>they welcomed for their freshman season<\/a>, the show’s cast returns to compete for two awards, including one of the night’s biggest prizes:\u00a0Best Television Series \u2013 Musical or Comedy.<\/span><\/p>\n Creator, writer, executive producer and star\u00a0<\/span>Quinta Brunson<\/a>\u00a0— who\u00a0<\/span>won her first-ever<\/a>\u00a0Golden Globe last year — is up for Best\u00a0Actress in a Musical or\u00a0Comedy TV series again, going up against\u00a0Rachel Brosnahan (<\/span>The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel),\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Ayo Edebiri (<\/span>The Bear),\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Elle Fanning (<\/span>The Great),\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Selena Gomez (<\/span>Only Murders in the Building), and\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Natasha Lyonne (<\/span>Poker Face).<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n But the star didn’t seem too anxious on the red carpet! Brunson graced Sunday’s awards show in a silver, custom\u00a0Balmain dress, complete with a slick ‘do with a pin-straight middle part,\u00a0Lorraine Schwartz jewels and\u00a0Jimmy Choo strappy heels.<\/span><\/p>\n Chris Perfetti donned a white, pinstripe suit with a bold, black flower pinned to his lapel. The actor quipped to ET’s Kevin Frazier that the look was “casual,” similar to what he wore while on the picket line during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I did dress like this on the picket line — this is actually sort of dressing casual for me,” he joked.<\/span><\/p>\n Looking stunning alongside him in a silver\u00a0Alin le’ Kal dress and long black gloves with\u00a0Levian Jewelry and Neil Lane Couture accessorize, Lisa Ann Walter joked that her look took a team of at least “10 people.”<\/span><\/p>\n “Chris has been answering my phone for me! Little known fact about wearing gloves; it looks elegant and great [but] you can’t be on your phone,” she added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While the pair couldn’t give away too many details on\u00a0<\/span>Abbott Elementary<\/span><\/em>‘s upcoming third season, they gave ET enough to ensure that fans will be wanting more by the season’s Feb. 7 premiere date.<\/span><\/p>\n “I will tell you this, the premiere episode of season 3 is so chock full of new, exciting stuff that you are not expecting that,” Walter shared. “I can’t even, we’re not allowed to say it obviously. But all I can say is stay tuned. It’s a lot.”<\/span><\/p>\n “People change,” Perfetti added, being reassuring that “we’re not gonna change that much.”<\/span><\/p>\n The duo also shared that season 3 will introduce “so many great characters” thanks to guest stars’ appearances.<\/span><\/p>\n William Stanford Davis, who plays the show’s lovable out-of-pocket janitor, came ready to party in a black velvet tuxedo, and teased that the upcoming season will be a “transformative” installment for the characters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Tyler James Williams looked incredibly dapper in a tan <\/span>Dolce & Gabbana<\/a> suit with a peach-toned flower on his lapel.<\/span><\/p>\n Janelle James brought the drama to the red carpet in a stunning black gown with a high slit and a satin green cape.<\/span><\/p>\n Her co-star, Sheryl Lee Ralph, similarly stunned in a custom Safiyaa black column gown with draped bust and layered back bow in chartreuse faille.<\/span><\/p>\n See all the must-see celeb looks from Sunday’s Golden Globes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The 2024\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Golden Globes<\/a><\/i>\u00a0hosted by Jo Koy is on Sunday, Jan. 7, at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT on CBS and streams on\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Paramount+<\/a><\/i>.
