Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s daughters revealed why \u201cstepdad\u201d doesn\u2019t feel like the right word for their mom\u2019s new husband, David Woolley<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t call him that,\u201d Christine\u2019s eldest daughter, Aspyn Brown<\/strong>, told her sister Ysabel Brown<\/strong> on the Sunday, January 7, episode of Sister Wives:<\/em> Christine and David\u2019s Wedding<\/em><\/a> special when asked about using \u201cstepdad\u201d for David. \u201cHe\u2019s our mom\u2019s husband.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Ysabel, 20, pushed further, asking Aspyn, \u201cDo you want him to be your stepdad?\u201d Aspyn, 28, confessed, \u201cNo, not really, it\u2019s just because I don\u2019t know what to do with it. That\u2019s foreign to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aspyn explained that to her, \u201cEveryone\u2019s just family,\u201d which Ysabel liked. \u201cLet\u2019s just say family,\u201d Ysabel concluded.<\/p>\n

The girls\u2019 dad, Kody Brown<\/strong>, also weighed in on the David\u2019s possible descriptor. \u201cTruely is the youngest [of the kids]. She\u2019s old enough, I don\u2019t think she\u2019ll ever call him dad or stepdad,\u201d Kody, 54, told the cameras<\/a>. \u201cMaybe. But it doesn\u2019t matter. This is all their choice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christine, 51, and her ex-husband, Kody, share six children<\/a>: daughters Aspyn, Mykelti<\/strong>, 27, Ysabel, Gwendlyn<\/strong>, 22, and Truely<\/strong>, 13, and son Paedon<\/strong>, 25. Following their split in November 2021, Christine moved on with David, whom she wed in October 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Gwendlyn was not at her mom\u2019s wedding<\/a> (and has yet to address why), Christine\u2019s other girls were by her side<\/a> the week leading up to and on her special day. The TLC cameras captured the sweet moments between Christine and her family, part 1 of which aired on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very excited for mom\u2019s wedding. Well, I\u2019m excited. I don\u2019t know, are you excited?\u201d Aspyn told the cameras while standing beside her siblings. \u201cI\u2019m excited. Are you excited?\u201d Ysabel replied, looking at their youngest sister Truely, who nodded her head in agreement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI already live with both of them,\u201d Truely explained. \u201cI refer to David and her as husband and wife already.\u201d Mykelti added that she\u2019s \u201calready accepted him as our stepfather.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the episode, Mykelti told the cameras, \u201cI love David. I think he\u2019s absolutely incredible. We tease each other a lot. It\u2019s how you know that I like you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christine also received the stamp of approval from former sister wife Janelle Brown<\/strong> during her rehearsal celebration. \u201cThis is a fairy tale, and I am so excited to feel a part of this with you,\u201d Janelle, 54, told Christine, while both Christine and Janelle\u2019s kids looked on. \u201cAnd thank you for making me part of the deal. For loving my children and letting me love yours. And I am part of the deal, and I am so grateful for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

I am so happy for you,\u201d Maddie, 28, told Christine, who helped raise all six of Janelle\u2019s kids. \u201cIt\u2019s just amazing you get your fairy tale.\u201d<\/p>\n
