Katharine McPhee<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>David Foster<\/a>\u00a0are passing their musical skills on to the next generation! The 16-time GRAMMY winner shared a video of the couple’s two-year-old son, Rennie, performing an unbelievably advanced number on his impressive drum kit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The adorable moment, captured by mom, shows the proud dad deeply engaged in a jam session with the toddler, playing a musical accompaniment on his phone while nodding his head along and playing air drums.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “\u2757\ufe0f Drumming into the new year \u2757\ufe0f#still2yearsold,” Foster captioned the clip on Instagram.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The quality of Rennie’s instrument and his skills with the sticks have both continued to improve since McPhee previously <\/span>shared a video of his talents last summer<\/a>. The tot’s enviable shiny red kit is emblazoned with his name, Rennie Foster, across the bass drum, while he rocks what looks like a pair of high quality headphones over his ears.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “It makes sense that he’d be musical, but we’re not really sure,” McPhee <\/span>previously told ET<\/a> about their son. “He’s certainly obsessed with the drums! Or imaginary drums, for that matter.”<\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Foster <\/span>recently told ET<\/a> that Rennie has “got Travis Barker written all over him.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I don’t know what to do,” he admitted. “He won’t listen to me and he’s not teachable right now, so he’s just gotta keep doing his own thing, I guess.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Rennie is quickly approaching age 3, as he’ll <\/span>celebrate his birthday in February<\/a>. He\u00a0is the first child for McPhee and the sixth for Foster, who has five adult daughters from previous relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n
