The ultimate Hollywood team-up! <\/span>Variety<\/span><\/em>, ET and the <\/span>Golden Globes<\/a> are partnering to produce and stream the official digital pre-show for the 81st Golden Globe Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n The red carpet pre-show will stream on <\/span>Variety.com<\/a>, its social media platforms, <\/span>ETonline.com<\/a>, the <\/span>Golden Globes website<\/a>, plus 20 websites in the PMC portfolio.<\/span><\/p>\n Variety<\/span><\/em> senior culture and events editor Marc Malkin, <\/span>Variety <\/span><\/em>senior entertainment writer Angelique Jackson and Entertainment Tonight correspondent Rachel Smith will host the gala carpet, featuring interviews with\u00a0Hollywood\u2019s biggest stars from film and television attending the black tie gala.<\/span><\/p>\n The pre-show will air live Sunday, Jan. 7, at 3:30 p.m. PT\/ 6:30 p.m. ET and include exclusive footage of the stars\u2019 arrivals on the red carpet, plus conversations with the Golden Globe nominees with<\/span> <\/span><\/em>Variety<\/span><\/em> editors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>star-studded awards show will be hosted by stand-up comedian<\/a> and actor\u00a0<\/span>Jo Koy<\/a>, marking his first-ever appearance as a host for a major awards show.<\/span><\/p>\n Some of the notable\u00a0film nominees include<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>Barbie, Oppenheimer,\u00a0<\/span><\/i>and<\/span>\u00a0Killers of the Flower Moon<\/span><\/i>, with performances from\u00a0<\/span>May December, Poor Things\u00a0<\/span><\/em>and\u00a0<\/span>Maestro<\/span><\/em>\u00a0also earning noms.\u00a0On the television side, returning favorites including\u00a0<\/span>The Crown, Succession<\/span><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Ted Lasso<\/span><\/em>, as well as newcomers\u00a0<\/span>Daisy Jones & The Six, Lessons in Chemistry\u00a0<\/span><\/em>and\u00a0<\/span>Jury Duty,<\/span><\/em>\u00a0were among the hit TV series to be recognized. This year, the Golden Globes also unveiled nominees in two new categories: Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television.<\/span><\/p>\n The star-studded lineup of presenters features A-list actors, comedians, and musicians, including Amanda Seyfried, Angela Bassett, Gabriel Macht, George Lopez, Julia Garner, Justin Hartley, Michelle Yeoh, Patrick J.
