Lauren Conrad<\/strong><\/a> found The One in husband William Tell<\/strong><\/a>, but their love story had to wait a decade before it began in 2012.<\/p>\n

\u201cI met my husband when I was 16 and sitting on stage at one of his concerts,\u201d Conrad revealed via her blog<\/a> in August 2016, referring to Tell\u2019s time in the band Something Corporate. \u201cTen years later we were set up on a blind date.\u201d<\/p>\n

Once the pair were reintroduced in 2012, they quickly fell in love. The Laguna Beach<\/em> alum wed the former guitarist in September 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been wonderful so far,\u201d Conrad exclusively gushed to Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in May 2015 of their first year of marriage. \u201cI think it\u2019s really different for everybody. For us it makes you officially family, which is really great, but as far as our relationship, we were really committed before, so it didn\u2019t change a ton.\u201d The twosome have since welcomed two sons<\/a>, Liam and Charlie.<\/p>\n

2002 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Conrad first crossed paths with Tell during one of his Something Corporate performances when she was in high school. Tell was part of the group from 2001 to 2004 and reunited with the band in October 2023 for a special show in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

February 2012 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The twosome had their first date on Valentine\u2019s Day after being set up by mutual friends.<\/p>\n

June 2013<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cMy family loves him, so they love when we come to visit,\u201d Conrad exclusively told Us<\/em><\/a> of her then-boyfriend. \u201cWe spend a lot of weekends there hanging out by the pool and doing nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Hills<\/em> alum revealed at the time that her parents were \u201call about\u201d Tell proposing soon. \u201cWe aren\u2019t in a rush, though,\u201d Conrad clarified. \u201cWe\u2019re happy where we are right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

October 2013 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Four months later, Conrad announced her engagement<\/a>. \u201cI am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend,\u201d the author wrote via Instagram. \u201cI am beyond thrilled!\u201d<\/p>\n

May 2014 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cThis guy graduated from law school today! So proud! #esquire,\u201d Conrad gushed via Instagram<\/a> after Tell finished at the University of Southern California.<\/p>\n

September 2014 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Us<\/em> exclusively confirmed that Conrad and Tell tied the knot<\/a> on the coast of California on September 13. \u201cWhat a perfect way to start our lives together; surrounded by the people we love most,\u201d the newlyweds told Us<\/em> in a statement after the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Conrad announced via social media that the pair\u2019s second son, Charlie Wolf<\/a>, had arrived. One month later, the former reality star commented on Charlie\u2019s moniker after learning two other celebrity kids \u2014 both Zooey Deschanel<\/strong> and Carly Waddell<\/strong> \u2014 have sons with the same name.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt sounds like I\u2019m a follower,\u201d Conrad joked to Us<\/em><\/a> in November 2019, explaining, \u201cThey\u2019re just both family names. Charlie, or Charles, is a family name and a name that my husband and I both really like, and then Wolf actually comes from his side.\u201d<\/p>\n

But when I first met my husband, he told me he always packs a bathing suit no matter where he is going,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI thought that was really silly, but you never know when you\u2019re going to need a bathing suit. There have been many random occasions where we have gone somewhere, and I wish I have packed a bathing suit only to find that my husband did and I did not. It takes very little room. Pack that bathing suit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Conrad also dished to Us<\/em> during her \u201c25 Things You Don\u2019t Know About Me\u201d interview that her \u201cfavorite song\u201d from her husband\u2019s band days is \u201cI Woke Up in a Car.\u201d<\/p>\n
