Hannah Waddingham loves being a parent<\/p>\n
\nThe 49-year-old actress didn\u2019t know whether she wanted to be a mother until her late 30s and now she couldn\u2019t live without her eight year old, whose name and details, including that of her father, she keeps private.<\/p>\n
\nAsked which woman has made the biggest difference to her life, she told Stylist magazine: \u201cMy little girly. I didn\u2019t know whether I wanted to be a mother and then I got to 38 and looked in the mirror and thought, oh my God, I want a child.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe\u2019s, without doubt, my greatest achievement and gift.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe \u2018Ted Lasso\u2019 star is determined not to take life too seriously.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cBeing an adult is\u2026 Never being an adult. Life is serious enough without being serious.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019ll be 50 next year and if I ever become an adult, smack me over the head.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHannah has had a fantastic 2023, but she doesn\u2019t want to know what 2024 has in store for her.<\/p>\n
\nAsked if she\u2019d like to know what was coming up if she could, she replied: \u201cI don\u2019t know if I would want to, because you have to take the rough with the smooth, which is why I never read reviews because all you\u2019d remember is the bad.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe former \u2018Game of Thrones\u2019 actress believes her career means it is important to be comfortable on her own.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI spend a lot of time on my own, travelling with this lovely lucky career.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI am an introverted extrovert \u2013 my idea of hell would be walking into a party by myself.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut you do have to be your own best pal.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
