Not on the same page! Kyle Cooke<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s frustration with Carl Radke<\/strong><\/a> over their work drama at Loverboy \u2014 and its toll on their friendship \u2014 came to a head while they spent a weekend apart on Summer House<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n The tension, however, lingered during the Monday, February 20, episode of the Bravo series. Housemate Danielle Olivera<\/strong><\/a> made sure she had Carl\u2019s back during the episode \u2026 even though Kyle, 40, claimed she had no idea what was going on.<\/p>\n Fans first got a taste of Kyle and Carl\u2019s awkward relationship during the season 7 premiere on February 13<\/a>. At the time, the Loverboy founder confessed that he thought Carl, 38, wanted to quit his role as VP of sales after he started dating their mutual friend Lindsay Hubbard<\/strong><\/a>. (Carl confirmed in February that he was no longer working for Kyle<\/a>.)<\/p>\n \u201cI talked to him about a month ago about his job. I\u2019m not going to lie. \u2026 The reason I\u2019m a little irked out is nothing has changed on my end,\u201d Kyle told Mya Allen<\/strong><\/a> on Monday\u2019s episode, hinting that Carl\u2019s issues at the company were not new. \u201cI think I should talk to Carl and I think you should talk to Lindsay. Let\u2019s go confront our demons. \u2026 Just kidding.\u201d<\/p>\n Mya \u2014 who butted heads with Lindsay<\/a>, 36, during the season premiere over her friendship with Carl \u2014 quipped: \u201cI think demons is pretty appropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n While Mya, 31, and Lindsay agreed to \u201ccoexist\u201d on Monday\u2019s episode, Kyle and Carl\u2019s conversation appeared to be just the tip of the iceberg of problems for the longtime friends<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cSome days I\u2019ve been pissed. I\u2019m like f\u2014k, I\u2019ve been working my ass off and it\u2019s not good enough,\u201d Carl told Kyle about his role at Loverboy<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t feel like I\u2019m valued sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n Kyle, for his part, told the cameras that he wasn\u2019t buying the sudden change in Carl\u2019s work ethic and alleged feeling of being undervalued. \u201cI think this is bulls\u2014t. Carl\u2019s been happy,\u201d the Maryland native confessed<\/a>. \u201cLoverboy has given him purpose, at times where quite frankly, he had none.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the episode, Carl angered Kyle when he chose not to tell his coworkers, including his boss and BFF, about an upcoming trip to Los Angeles until a few days before he flew out. As a result, Carl and Lindsay were not in the Hamptons for the second weekend of summer<\/a>, but Kyle felt his presence \u2014 and lack of respect \u2014 across the country.<\/p>\n \u201cMy team\u2019s working hard. \u2026 As far as I\u2019m concerned, he\u2019s not even a part of. He\u2019s checked out,\u201d Kyle told Mya of Carl during a group dinner while the salesman was away in L.A. \u201cWhen I hired him he was unhireable<\/a>. [He] showed up to work drunk. He showed up one day so coked out that he didn\u2019t bring his computer to work. \u2026 The world needs to know, I\u2019m a pretty understanding boss.\u201d<\/p>\n Danielle, meanwhile, overheard Kyle seemingly throwing Carl under the bus and called him out at the table<\/a>. \u201cKyle, I literally don\u2019t want you to sit there right now. I heard every word you said about Carl and it f\u2014king pisses me off,\u201d Danielle, 34, said. \u201cWhat you\u2019re saying right now is very unfair.\u201d<\/p>\n Summer House<\/em> airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
