Through it all \u2014 the fights, the coupon cutting, the hand-me-downs, the breakdowns \u2014 with love, humor and perseverance, the family prevails.<\/p>\n In the new season, Sean<\/strong> returns as Tyler, and will be Becky\u2019s new boyfriend, after the characters met towards the end of season five.<\/p>\n Stars returning include John Goodman<\/strong><\/a>, Sara Gilbert<\/strong><\/a>, Laurie Metcalf<\/strong><\/a>, Lecy Goranson<\/strong><\/a>, Emma Kenney<\/strong><\/a>, Ames McNamara<\/strong><\/a> and Jay R Ferguson<\/strong><\/a>.
