In the book, she discussed many topics<\/a> related to her life and career.<\/p>\n In a recent interview with The New York Times<\/a><\/em>, Barbra<\/strong> explained how she has come to embrace her sense of style more as an older woman. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Barbra<\/strong> explained that she didn\u2019t dress provocatively earlier in her life because she \u201cwas too afraid to be seen that way at that time,\u201d yet now, she\u2019s \u201ctoo old to care.\u201d<\/p>\n When it comes to fashion, the Funny Girl<\/em> star said she believes that \u201cpeople should express themselves and wear whatever they feel on any given day and that has nothing to do with age.\u201d<\/p>\n Barbra<\/strong> also described how she developed her own unique style.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t relate to the conventional kind of gown most nightclub singers wore,\u201d she said. \u201cInstead, I took a men\u2019s wear fabric \u2014 a black-and-white herringbone tweed \u2014 and designed a vest, which I wore with a white chiffon blouse and a matching tweed skirt, floor-length with a slit up the side, and lined in red.
