\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Exciting news for Dancing with the Stars<\/em>\u2018 Britt Stewart<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 she\u2019s engaged!<\/p>\n On Friday (December 29), the 34-year-old pro dancer announced that she and CODA<\/em> actor Daniel Durant<\/strong><\/a> are engaged, nearly one year after confirming that they were in a relationship<\/a>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The couple shared with People<\/a><\/em> that Daniel<\/strong>, also 34, proposed to Britt<\/strong> while on a hike in Lake Arrowhead, Calif., with their families on Christmas Day, (Monday, Dec. 25).<\/p>\n Daniel<\/strong> popped the question when the group made it to the top of the mountain and everyone went around and shared what they were grateful for and were looking forward to in the new year.<\/p>\n \u201cI was the last one \u2014 and I started talking about the year, about us meeting and everything that happens in life. I just feel like there\u2019s balance. She sees me. She knows my culture, my language, and understands everything about me,\u201d Daniel<\/strong> shared, admitting that he started \u201cwelling up\u201d in the moment before taking out the ring.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were both emotional, overwhelmed with joy and at peace knowing that this would eventually be part of our story,\u201d Britt<\/strong> added. \u201cIt felt like magic, but at the same time, it felt right and normal.\u201d <\/p>\n Daniel<\/strong> and Britt<\/strong> first met when they were paired together during season 31 of Dancing with the Stars<\/em> in 2022. They came in fifth place.<\/p>\n They revealed that they were dating on Valentine\u2019s Day<\/a> in February 2023.<\/p>\n Congrats to the happy couple!
