\nThe 53-year-old actor and Sheree Gustin – who were married for 23 years – are said to have agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their children, Jack, 17, and Brooklyn, nine.<\/p>\n
\nAccording to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Steve will pay Sheree $12,500 a month in child support, which works out as $10,000 for Brooklyn – until she turns 18 – and $2,500 for Jack. <\/p>\n
\nIn April 2024, Steve’s payments will be down to $10,000 because he won’t have to pay the $2,500 for Jack, after he turns 18 at the end of March. <\/p>\n
\nAccording to PEOPLE, Steve and Sheree – who are also parents to Makena, 20 – waived their right to spousal support “now or at any time in the future, regardless of the unforeseen circumstances that may exist in the future”. <\/p>\n
\nBut Steve is paying her $50,000, in $2,500 per month instalments, as retroactive support.<\/p>\n
\nIn July 2022, Steve filed for divorce from Sheree, two months after he had taken to his Instagram Stories to reveal he and his then-spouse had gone their separate ways, and he made a bombshell claim she was pregnant with a child who “is not mine”.<\/p>\n
\nHe wrote: “I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she’s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine. We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids. We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nAccording to court documents obtained by TMZ in July 2022, the pair’s separation was dated March 1, and “irreconcilable differences” were cited as the cause of the split.<\/p>\n
\nIn November 2021, Steve confirmed he had been fired from US soap ‘General Hospital’ after deciding not to be vaccinated against COVID-19.<\/p>\n
\nThe star – who played Jason Morgan in more than 2,000 episodes of the daytime drama from 1991 to 2021 – admitted at the time it “hurt” to have lost his job as a result of the vaccine mandate, after his bid to be exempted from the jabs were denied.<\/p>\n
\nHe said in a video shared on Instagram: “I know there’s been a lot of rumours and speculation about me and ‘General Hospital’, and I wanted you to hear it from me personally.<\/p>\n
\n“Unfortunately, ‘General Hospital’ has let me go because of the vaccine mandate.<\/p>\n
\n“I did apply for my medical and religious exemptions, and both of those were denied. Which, you know, hurts. But this is also about personal freedom for me. I don’t think anyone should lose their livelihood over this.<\/p>\n
\n“I’ll always be grateful for my time at ‘General Hospital’. I love it there, I grew up there…. so I’ll always be grateful.<\/p>\n
\n“I believe that when one door closes, multiple doors open. That’s always been my perspective. So I am excited to see what the future brings.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
