Trina<\/strong><\/a> is giving Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> her flowers for the impact she\u2019s made on other women in the music industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is the No. 1 female rapper when she does rap. There\u2019s no sleeping on the Queen,\u201d the rapper, 45, said of Beyonc\u00e9, 42, in an interview with HipHopDX<\/a> published on Wednesday, December 27. \u201cIt\u2019s just one of those things, of course, it\u2019s the queen, it\u2019s Beyonc\u00e9, but when you [hear] a song and it\u2019s rapping involved it\u2019s like, oh my God \u2014 it\u2019s more inspiration.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trina gushed about how inspiring it was to see so many new female artists step into the genre considering how few there were when she got her start in the late \u201890s.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love to see the girls. [There are] so many new girls,\u201d she shared. \u201c[There wasn\u2019t] that many girls like when I was starting so I always just wondered like [when] the day was going to dominate with females opposed to just guys. And now the girls are just doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Beyhive likely never expected Beyonc\u00e9 to become the reigning queen of surprises, but that she is. Since 2011, Queen Bey has been sending her dedicated legion of fans into overdrive with the many unexpected twists and turns in both her personal and professional lives. To date, she has surprise-announced four albums, two films and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Trina explained that it was \u201camazing\u201d to see all the \u201cdifferent\u201d styles of artistry that the new wave of women rappers are bringing to the genre.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt goes from provocative, raw, raunchy, you know expression, emotional \u2014 it\u2019s different kinds of music,\u201d she said. \u201cI think it\u2019s time we just got to enjoy it.\u201d<\/p>\n

While many new artists have recently come into the spotlight, Beyonc\u00e9 has also had quite the year. In 2023, she embarked on her record-breaking Renaissance Tour<\/em><\/a>. Many stars, including Trina, had a blast<\/a> at the concert.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m mad that it\u2019s over,\u201d Trina teased of Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s show. \u201cOnce the tour was over, we\u2019re back to the basics of the internet. I feel like the internet was just driven these months with the queen. Everyday 500-plus tour outfits<\/a> to just watch \u2026 It was just a moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
