Gypsy Rose Blanchard<\/strong><\/a> is officially a free woman and she can now live her happily ever after with husband Ryan Scott Anderson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n For those who don\u2019t know, Gypsy<\/strong> got married in a small prison ceremony back in July 2022. For those who don\u2019t know, the 32-year-old, a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, was serving eight years for the murder of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The prison where Gypsy <\/strong>was held does not allow conjugal visits, so the newlyweds were unable to consummate their marriage. They finally will have the chance now that she is free.<\/p>\n In a new interview, Gypsy<\/strong> and Ryan<\/strong> talked about how they met and what it was like falling in love while she was locked away.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt was when Tiger King<\/em> was really popular,\u201d Ryan <\/strong>told People<\/a><\/em> about his decision to reach out to Gypsy. \u201cMy co-worker at the time was like \u2018I want to write Tiger King.\u2019 I said, \u2018I\u2019ll tell you what, if you write him, I\u2019ll write Gypsy Rose Blanchard<\/strong>. I never thought she\u2019d be my wife.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI remember telling her what her story meant to me, and on the second page I just let her have it. I told her everything about me,\u201d Ryan <\/strong>added. He said, \u201cShe told me the main reason [she responded] was probably because I was from Louisiana [Gypsy<\/strong>‘s original home state]. So I credit that as being the most important thing.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI remember I had butterflies when we\u2019d email, but really what set it over the top was the first time I heard her voice,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Gypsy<\/strong> talked about her love for Ryan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cRyan <\/strong>has seen me through some really good times, some really hard times. I would say that he is probably the most compassionate soul that I\u2019ve ever met, and the most patient,\u201d she said. \u201cGod knows, he\u2019s so patient with me, because I could be a lot to handle. I could be an emotional handful.\u201d <\/p>\n Gypsy<\/strong> added, \u201cWe\u2019re in love\u2026 It\u2019s hard because I\u2019m going into a new life and I\u2019m newly married, and I\u2019m going to have kids one day, and I\u2019m going to have to explain to my kids why their grandmother on mommy\u2019s side isn\u2019t around. And that\u2019s going to be a really hard conversation.\u201d <\/p>\n Gypsy <\/strong>is optimistic about life as a freed married woman.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t foresee any major hardships,\u201d she said. \u201cI think this, being in prison, has been the hard part.
