Mikayla Nogueira Hawken<\/strong><\/a> is not here for Ozempic accusations.<\/p>\n

The beauty star, 25, opened up about her weight loss journey via TiKTok<\/a> on Wednesday, December 27. In the clip, she responded to a follower\u2019s comment accusing her of using the diabetes medication to lose weight. \u201cLMAOOO SHES ON OZEMPIC,\u201d the troll wrote on a social media video<\/a> of Nogueira Hawken celebrating Christmas with husband Cody Hawken<\/strong> on Monday, December 25.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know why these comments affect me as much as they do, but as someone who the last six months has been in eating disorder recovery offline \u2026 it just sucks,\u201d Nogueira Hawken said, explaining, \u201cIn recovery I happen to have lost 30 pounds because I was struggling with binge-eating disorder and when you go through recovery and you stop binging sometimes you\u2019ll lose weight with that \u2026 But to just put in all that work for months to recover from something that was literally nearly taking your life away multiple times to just be hit with \u2018Laugh my ass off she\u2019s on Ozempic,\u2019 it just sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nogueira Hawken added that the comments \u201ctake away from anyone who puts in the extreme and restraint to get healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Nogueira Hawken told followers she will \u201cnever personally do Ozempic,\u201d because she doesn\u2019t want to \u201ccheat\u201d her recovery, she made it clear that she \u201cdoes not judge\u201d others who are using the drug.<\/p>\n

Ozempic just would not be the path for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nogueira Hawken concluded her video by telling fans, \u201cYes, I have lost weight. I\u2019ve done it completely naturally, normally and [by making] better food choices, better life choices. But I am proud of myself that I\u2019ve done it entirely healthy \u2026 That\u2019s a huge deal for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is not the first time Nogueira Hawken has addressed comments about her weight<\/a> on social media. In May, she responded to comments claiming that she had \u201cgained so much weight.\u201d<\/p>\n
