Honoring a lost love. Allison Holker<\/strong> <\/a>has often paid tribute to her late husband, Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss, following his death in December 2022.<\/p>\n \u201cTo my husband, best friend, babe, Chee-chalker, Superman and father of my children I LOVE YOU FOREVER and ALWAYS!\u201d Holker wrote via Instagram in January 2023 alongside a slideshow of images from the late dancer\u2019s life<\/a>. \u201cWe will forever remember you as the true beacon of light that you were and we will continue to cast your light and love throughout the world. Thank you for our incredible memories and our beautiful life shared together.\u201d<\/p>\n The post, which featured tWitch,\u00a0Holker and their three children \u2014 son Maddox and daughters Weslie\u00a0and Zaia \u2014 showcased sweet stills from some of the choreographer\u2019s<\/a> biggest moments,\u00a0including his 2013\u00a0proposal to the\u00a0<\/i>Minnesota native and the birth of their\u00a0kids. (tWitch also adopted Weslie, his wife\u2019s child from a previous relationship.)<\/p>\n Holker confirmed her husband\u2019s death in a statement<\/a> one day after his passing. tWitch, who was 40 years old at the time of his death, died by suicide at a hotel in Los Angeles in December 2022.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,\u201d Holker\u00a0told\u00a0E! News<\/em>\u00a0at the time. \u201cStephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family<\/a>, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n The Make Your Move<\/em> star further reflected on the \u201clegacy\u201d her late husband left in his wake, noting that his \u201cpositive impact\u201d would \u201ccontinue to be felt\u201d even in his absence.<\/p>\n \u201cI am certain there won\u2019t be a day that goes by that we won\u2019t honor his memory,\u201d she continued.\u00a0\u201cWe ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.\u201d<\/p>\n Holker and the Ellen DeGeneres Show<\/em> alum\u00a0tied the knot in 2013 after meeting<\/a> on season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance<\/em> three years prior. The\u00a0Magic Mike XXL<\/em> actor\u00a0told Dance Spirit<\/em><\/a> magazine in August 2012 that the lovebirds first crossed paths during season 2 of the dance competition series in 2006, but Holker didn\u2019t remember meeting him.<\/p>\n Four years later, however, Holker couldn\u2019t help but notice the Alabama native. \u201cFrom the first week of SYTYCD<\/em>\u00a0as All-Stars, I thought he was the cutest guy ever,\u201d she told the outlet at the time. \u201cHis personality was so fun.\u201d<\/p>\n The twosome went on to welcome\u00a0<\/b>their children\u00a0in 2016 and 2019<\/a>, respectively.\u00a0<\/b>Days after Holker gave birth to Zaia, she and her husband were back to sharing videos of their signature morning dances via social media.<\/p>\n \u201cA lot of people asked me, \u2018How? How could you do that?\u2019 Honestly, I am a dancer. It\u2019s part of my life,\u201d\u00a0the Footloose<\/em> actress exclusively shared with Us Weekly\u00a0<\/em>in March 2020, explaining why she returned to her routine so quickly. \u201cPeople get up, they shower. I get up, I shower and then I dance. It helped me so much through the whole [pregnancy] process, and it made me really keep a sane head.\u201d<\/p>\n When they weren\u2019t busy posting videos of their choreography, the dancers\u00a0often took to social media to gush over their love for each other.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s our 9th anniversary!! I couldn\u2019t be more grateful to celebrate this perfect magical day!!!\u201d the former Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> pro wrote via Instagram in December 2022, just days before tWitch\u2019s passing. \u201cSaying YES to @sir_twitch_alot has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life!!
