Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a> reveals why Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> is seemingly switching the \u201cnarrative\u201d about how much he loved his ex-wives on Sister Wives Look Back: How It Started<\/em><\/a> special.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what to think or feel when Kody sits there saying, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m so in love with all of my wives and I\u2019m also in love with Robyn [Brown]<\/strong>,\u2019\u201d Meri says in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s exclusive sneak peek of the Sunday, December 24, special, in which the whole cast rewatches past scenes from the TLC series.<\/p>\n

Meri\u2019s reaction came in response to seeing an early TLC clip of Kody, 54, expressing his love for her, Janelle Brown<\/strong>, Christine Brown<\/strong> and Robyn, 45, before he legally married Robyn in 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, were you lying then? Or are you lying now?\u201d Meri asks in the all-new clip. She explains, \u201cIn the past couple of years, he\u2019s basically come out and said he never loved Christine. He\u2019s told me he was trying to affirm that he loved me. He was trying to do his duty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meri further claims, \u201cI think that he did love each of us. I personally think that he\u2019s just trying to make it fit his narrative. To justify where he is now<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meri\u2019s remarks were taped after she and Kody announced in January that they are no longer in a romantic relationship<\/a> after more than 30 years. She wasn\u2019t the only one of Kody\u2019s ex-wives who weighed in on his season 18 comments \u2014 specifically the moment in which he claimed he \u201cwas choosing to love my wives\u201d but wasn\u2019t in love with them.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe guy that I see in these early clips is who he was. I didn\u2019t feel like I wasn\u2019t loved,\u201d Janelle, 54, says in the teaser.<\/p>\n

Christine, 51, agrees with Janelle\u2019s sentiments, adding, \u201cI wouldn\u2019t have married him if I didn\u2019t think that he loved me. I thought he loved me, and he was in love with me in the beginning of our marriage and even at this point when he was courting Robyn, dating Robyn. I felt like he loved me<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
