\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about special experiences with her idols, Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Paul McCartney<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n In a new interview with Grammy.com<\/a>, the 24-year-old \u201cNonsense\u201d singer reflected on some of the most important moments of her 2023. <\/p>\n It was a big year for the former Disney star, who joined Taylor <\/strong>on The Eras Tour<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/a> and released the deluxe version of her album, emails i can\u2019t send<\/em>. Sabrina <\/strong>was also honored as Variety<\/em>\u2018s Rising Star<\/a>. <\/p>\n She dished on receiving an invite to open for Taylor <\/strong>and recalled shedding a few tears meeting Paul<\/strong> at a party. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Sabrina <\/strong>shared that she found about going on tour with Taylor <\/strong>via text. \u201cThere were a lot of emojis and exclamation points,\u201d she remembered. \u201cThat was really how it happened; it wasn\u2019t through managers or anything. When Taylor <\/strong>texted me and asked if I wanted to come on tour with her, I threw my phone across the room.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cIt\u2019s a really surreal thing. I covered one of her songs when I was 9 years old and definitely, throughout my life, she was an artist and a songwriter and businesswoman who I\u2019ve always admired. So to call her a friend and be a part of something as iconic as this tour, I still can\u2019t process it.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cFeather\u201d singer also had a memorable interaction this year with Paul<\/strong>, another one of her musical heroes. <\/p>\n \u201cI met Paul McCartney<\/strong> back in March,\u201d she shared. \u201cIt was at a party, which is not the environment you want to meet your biggest icon in. But he was so present, sweet and gracious with me. You know the kind of eye contact that someone makes with you and you\u2019re like, \u201cYou\u2019re a real person, I\u2019m just not sure I believe it.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI definitely did start crying a little bit, which is not something I do often,\u201d the singer noted. \u201cI\u2019ll remember it forever and I hope I can see him again.\u201d<\/p>\n Sabrina <\/strong>recently shut down a fan<\/a> who tried to sing her song \u201cSkin\u201d to her. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
