Ryan Gosling<\/strong><\/a> \u201cken not wait\u201d to ring in the holidays with a new Christmas version of his Barbie<\/em> anthem.<\/p>\n

Gosling\u2019s spouse<\/a>, Eva Mendes<\/strong>, gave fans a preview of \u201cI\u2019m Just Ken (Merry Kristmas Barbie)\u201d via Instagram<\/a> on Monday, December 18. In the short clip, Gosling, 43, stands next to Mark Ronson<\/strong> \u2013 who produced the Barbie<\/em> soundtrack \u2013 in a music studio while swelling symphonic music plays.<\/p>\n

As they listen, Gosling leans in and raises the volume on a track labeled \u201cKEN,\u201d and it becomes clear that this is a kringle version of \u201cI\u2019m Just Ken,\u201d Gosling\u2019s big musical number from Barbie. Ronson, 48, isn\u2019t too happy with someone messing with his soundboard, even if it\u2019s a star from the year\u2019s biggest film<\/a>. The \u201cUptown Funk\u201d cocreator returns Gosling\u2019s vocals to normal, prompting Ryan to raise them to the red again.<\/p>\n

Ronson attempts to restore Gosling\u2019s vocals to a reasonable level, but it becomes a battle that the producer doesn\u2019t feel like fighting. \u201cYou handle this, Ken,\u201d says Ronson as he exits the studio. As for how the final mix sounds, \u201cI\u2019m Just Ken (Merry Kristmas Barbie)\u201d arrives on Wednesday, December 20.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m Not Ken\u201d earned Gosling his first song on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a>. The song reached No. 87 in August. Gosling, who was part of the rock duo Dead Man\u2019s Bones, previously charted on Billboard\u2019s Jazz and Jazz Digital Song Sales Chart with \u201cCity of Stars\u201d from 2016\u2019s La La Land<\/em>. That song, however, didn\u2019t crack the Hot 100.<\/p>\n
